Broken story

The story

Remember any italics means I'm not sure if that's what I read.

The character is a 17 year old girl.  She lives on a hill with her mom. She has a forest behind her house, and the town is a mile or a couple miles down.  Her mom is weak, there is nobody else who lives there. There is a fence blocking her from the forest, but she is able to get to the other side and roam the forest. She may have scraped her knee or ripped her thin dress when she climbed over. Her mom sometimes complained about her leaving for these small periods of time. One day she's roaming the forest.  I have no idea why she was out there, if it was getting dark, and/or she lost her way.  But she was getting thirsty. She hears a stream and moves a couple rocks and finds a stream underneath.  She's about to drink from it when 3 guys stop her.  I don't remember if they are brother (I think so) or maybe a dad and his two sons.  It was 3 guys for sure. Pretty sure they're family. Anyways, they stop her and idk if they explained right away or what but they explained at one point that the water made them immortal, and that it's a life of misery.  They found out because one of the brothers or smth was doing yard work or smth and fell from a high place and broke his neck.  I think they lived in the forest anyways.  The brother was perfectly fine and they fixed his neck.  And whatever they did, they couldn't die.  Not from starvation, drowning, wounds. They have been around for a long time.  And that it's a life of pain and loneliness and they don't want her to live that life.  Anyways from then on, she would visit the forest every day for like two year or smth not sure about the time period.  She and one of the brothers end up falling and love.  Sorry I don't remember the details but yeah they fall in love.  And there was mentioning that they never came out of the forest, they never tried to come into the house.  Anyways, one day she's sleeping in her room in the middle of the night and she wakes up to her lover in her room and he gives her a tiny vial and explains that it's the water from the stream.  He must go right away with his siblings.  Something about a crime being done and I don't know if they did it or the towns people suspected them because they are random people in the woods, but if they got caught, they would be hanged and they can't die so they would get found out and have experiments done on them.  He gives her the vial and explains that it's her choice wither to take it or not, and he will be back in a couple of decades to see if she took it or not.  Anyways, some time passed, enough where the people don't care about the wanted for them.  He comes back and finds a broken house where she lived.  He asked around and turns out she and her mom died in a house fire a couple years later.  That means she never chose to drink the water.  :/

If anybody is a good writer, please rewrite it.  Keep the main details and stuff but fill in the blanks if you want!  I would love to read it!
Explain how they fell in love, how they looked, her relationship with the other brother, maybe details what she does with her mother :)
