Annabelle's POV

" Hurry up,you're gonna get late for school"...my mom. It was another typical school day. How I hated school...and didn't want to see Ethan. Yes, Ethan my ex,we had recently broken up. To cover it all up I also had an algebra test.

Not to get mom angry, I raced to the car.On my way to school, a million things ran through my mind. "How was the test going to be?"...I didn't even study..all because of Ethan. Breaking my heart was something he should have regretted.I was crying my heart out only having Chloe, my best friend to comfort me.I couldn't believe he broke up with me just for that bitch. That f***ing  whore thinks she has won because she has Ethan. Well NO!! that bitch was so wrong.I was just waiting for her to slip up, to strike where it hurts(which was likely to be soon).

Suddenly Chloe called me to say she was going to Lincoln's to get some coffee. I felt it was yet early even though mom said it was late. So I talked to mom, begged her for five minutes straight and finally she agreed. She kissed me goodbye and told me to have a nice day. And yes I'm a teenager who accepts kisses from my mom in public, because she's all I got. My dad left us when I was five. Sixteen years have passed but I can still remember when he left mom and I all alone.I met Chloe all looking sad, I know she was sad because of me..she never left my side..no matter the circumstance. Besides knowing how I felt Chloe never upset me...her hilarious jokes would always work a trick or another.

The coffee was great. Chloe had called me to talk about Ethan. To be honest it burnt on the inside knowing the person I had loved for three years, had done something like this to me. I felt BETRAYED!!. I cried my heart out.

Perhaps Ethan didn't know what was heartbreak.
