- If You Don't Woe Me by Now -
1x7

The Weathervane is empty. The last customer having just left when Vada rounds the corner with Enid and Wednesday behind her. She opens the door and walks inside, glancing around.

"We're closed." Tyler says from the counter, his back turned from the door as he seems to be cleaning some sort of coffee machine.

"That's sad, I wanted a cookie." Vada smiles softly, walking up to the counter.

Tyler looks up softly, turning. "Vada.. Hey." He smiles, looking slightly confused to see Wednesday and Enid behind her.

"Hey." Vada smiles softly. "Any chance we could just sit for a little?"

"Of course. Let me clock out and stuff." Tyler smiles and heads to the back.

Wednesday finds a booth and lightly pulls Enid in with her. "He's acting like a puppy." She comments.

"He is not." Vada defends lightheartedly, shaking her head. "He's a working man." She smiles.

Enid giggles. "I've never seen you in love. It looks pretty good on you." She tells Vada. Wednesday turns to give the blonde a look, eyes big.

"You look good too, baby." Enid grins and pecks her lips. Wednesday relaxes against the booth seat as Vada giggles at them.

Tyler walks over, a small plate of cookies and muffins in his hands. "I figured we could use some snacks." He smiles as he sets the plate in the middle of the table before sitting beside Vada.

"My dad told me what happened with Xavier. Pretty nuts. I mean, that guy always seemed pretty normal.. for an outcast." He wraps an arm around Vada, pulling her into his side lightly.

Wednesday shrugs. "Well, you know, it has made us re-evaluate things." She informs.

"Like what?" Tyler asks.

"Who we can trust." Wednesday responds calmly. She stares at Tyler for a long minute before reaching for a cookie.

Tyler doesn't seem to notice this and reaches as well. The two touch hands as Tyler chuckles. "Sorry. Go for it." He pulls his hand back.

Wednesday throws her head back as Enid gently holds her.

"Another vision?" Vada asks quickly, worried for her friend. She had been having a lot of those lately.

"Wens? Baby? You okay?" Enid asks when the girl comes back to.

"Is she okay?" Tyler asks, staring at Wednesday with soft eyes.

Wednesday's eyes are wide, staring at Tyler before she moves out of the booth quickly. "We need to go."

"What? Baby?" Enid stands. Wednesday turns quickly.

"We need to go! Now!" She snaps at her, grabbing her hand and pulling her to the door.

Vada frowns and begins to slide out of the booth but Tyler doesn't move. "Ty, I gotta go."

"Just stay with me.. she has Enid. Everything will be okay." Tyler says softly, looking down at Vada with soft eyes. "Just let me make you a drink and we can hang out some more. It was probably just one of her visions. Enid can handle it." He cups her cheeks.

Vada looks up at him with soft eyes, glancing towards the door as she sees the girls were already gone. She slowly looks back at him and nods. "Okay.."

The two spent a few hours, drinking some hot chocolate and talking. Tyler was watching Vada catch marshmallows in her mouth as he smiles before going serious. "Vada?"

The girl pauses and looks at the male with soft eyes. "Hm?"

"Do you love me?"

Vada smiles softly and nods. "Of course." She leans over and pecks his lips. "Do you love me?" She asks.

Tyler grins and nods. "Obviously." He pecks her lips back. "But.. how much do you love me? Like would you still love me if I was a bad person?"

"Depends how bad." Vada admits. "Troublemakers and evil are two different things."

"I don't think i'm evil." Tyler says softly and shakes his head. "I just.. if i had done something bad.. would you forgive me?"

"Tyler, whatever this is about, you can tell me straight up okay? I don't hold grudges as bad as you might think." Vada promises.

Tyler smiles softly. "I'll just talk to you later about it, okay? You should get back. I don't want you to get in trouble."

Vada smiles and kisses him gently before nodding. "I'll see you around, Ty."

"Yeah, definitely." Tyler smiles and watches the girl walk out before looking down slightly. There is a lot to get done soon..

Vada arrives to the dorm, looking at Wednesday and Enid. "Wanna explain why you guys ran out?" She asks, taking off her jacket.

"Your boyfriend is the Hyde." Wednesday stands.

"What? Tyler? No. He's literally a normie." Vada scoffs softly.

"That's not what my vision says." Wednesday counters softly. Vada sighs and looks at her.

"Look, Wednesday. I'm not trying to be rude but I am not going to just break up with him and accuse him of murder just because you had a vision. Okay? There's no other proof against him. We already have Xavier in jail for being the Hyde."

"I believe we caught the wrong guy. Xavier was right, he was being framed. By Tyler and whoever may be his master."

"You are so out of line, Wens. Just stop okay?" Vada snaps and walks to her bed.

"I've sent a note to Tyler. He will be meeting you for a date at Crackstone's Crypt tomorrow night at 8pm. We will find out who he really is then." Wednesday informs before sitting on her own bed.

Vada rolls her eyes. "He's not the Hyde."

"That's what he wants you to think." Wednesday responds and pulls her covers over her.

Vada lays in bed and turns towards the wall, thinking to herself. Could Tyler really be the Hyde? Surely not.. hopefully not..

She grabs her phone, looking at Tyler's contact before sending him a quick and simple goodnight with a heart, hoping and praying to her grandpa that Wednesday's vision was wrong.

But what scares her most?

Vada isn't so sure she would be able to hate him.. even if he was the killer.
