The last thing I remembered was blood, lots of it, a scarlet rain pouring heavily around me. Then, the numbness settled in, and everything went black.
The next time I opened my eyes, it was all white, like a blank canvas. I walked aimlessly and sure enough, there seemed to be no end to this nothingness, until I suddenly felt a slight push. Gradually, something was pulling me in an unknown direction. It felt like a string was attached to my chest and someone was tugging it behind all this white nothingness. I did not fight the pull, instead, I yielded to the strange force, and it led me to a room of golden shimmering sunlight.
You have the courage to change fate.
That was all I heard before I blacked out again. When I regained consciousness, I heard other voices surrounding me. They were a bit muffled, but I could make out a woman's and man's voice, deep in talk. I tried opening my eyes and was blinded by the natural sunlight, I blinked a few times to adjust my vision, while my ears tried to listen in to their conversation.
"Awwwww, Len. She has your violet eyes!"
"Hello, little one. Kaho, she looks just like you! Our beautiful daughter..."
"Pffttt... I'd rather she took in your good looks and talent. And don't try arguing with me in here, we know you're the looker in this family."
"Mmmmmhm... but you're still the boss of me."
"Of course, darling. You hear that Evy? No matter how accomplished your father is, your momma is still the master of this house!"
"If you know what's good for you dear daughter, you should listen to your mother all the time."
"Our darling Evaine..."
HUH?!? Daughter???!!! Evaine??? What's going on?!?
I tried to voice out my concerns but all that came out was a wail. And when I lifted my hands, all I was able to see were the pudgy small hands of a baby.
Wait a minute.

Was I reincarnated into another body? What the hell?!?
