- A Murder of Woes -
1x8

The scent of fire is the only thing Vada can fully register as she slowly begins to come to her senses. Her arms are above her head, chained and on a hook. Wednesday is beside her, coming to as well.

Things are blurry at first until she makes out Tyler's face. "Morning, girls." He smiles softly.

"Tyler, go wait by the boat." Laurel walks in.

"Can I at least take Vada down? You don't need her right now, do you?" Tyler asks.

"You can take her down. Chain her to the pillar. I need her in a few minutes." Laurel sighs in annoyance.

Tyler grins and undoes the chains around Vada's legs, helping her down so she can walk. "Hey baby. Miss me?"

Vada looks at him tiredly before looking back at Wednesday. "No..."

"I'll be fine." Wednesday promises and offers a ghost of a smile.

Tyler chains her to the pillar and cups her cheeks. "I love you." He whispers. His eyes return soft for a moment. "Do what she says.. I have a plan." He whispers softly before standing and walking out.

Vada stares at Tyler before looking towards Laurel. She is gathering the body parts she's kept. It looks like she's doing some sort of ritual. "My family has remained committed to Crackstone's mission. My brother died serving that cause. I'm taking a different approach. The supernatural."

"You've been forcing Tyler to collect the body parts so you can resurrect Crackstone." Wednesday says in disbelief.

"You can't wake the dead." Wednesday says.

"You're right, I can't." Laurel smiles. "But Vada can. All I gotta do it get her mad enough."

Vada looks up and glares. "I can also create the dead, bitch." She snaps.

"Ooh, such a strong tongue for someone in chains and at my mercy." Laurel slaps the girl hard.

Vada grunts and looks up at Laurel with a glare.

"Don't worry Wednesday, once I get the blood lock open, i'll send you off for Tyler to finish off. He's pretty upset that you made Vada turn on him." Laurel smiles.

She grabs Wednesday and drags her to the large casket , grabbing a knife. She drags it along Wednesday's palm before forcing it onto the lock. It glows red, looking like it almost burns Wednesday.

"Tyler requested a game of tag. You're free to run." Laurel takes the chains off of Wednesday and pushes her out of the crypt.

Vada tries to sit up against the pillar, shaking her head as Laurel came closer.

Laurel drags her to the steps, making her sit up. "Focus on bringing him back."

"No!" Vada snaps at her and looks away.

"If you don't, I will kill Tyler slowly." Laurel smirks, grabbing her chin.

Vada looks at her with a small frown before looking at the coffin again. "If I do this, will you promise to keep Tyler safe?"

"Of course." Laurel smirks. "Let's see if you can do it without me telling you how worthless you are."
