  I'm lying on the hill with Melody and the night breeze.

-You smell horrible

  Melody told me before proceeding to laugh. I facepalmed as the laughter rose in me.

-I just came out from rehearsals Mel! You know how I get during them.

  I sigh and gaze at the stars as I hear her reply

  Even with me gazing at the sky I still felt her air quotes.

  Minutes passed with us staring at the sky in silence, calming silence,until Melody broke the silence

-So, did you hear anything about the colleges you applied for?

-Yeah, my acceptance letter from Boe came.

  Melody bursts out laughing.

  I can hear the relief in her response, she didn't want to go to college but her parents are forcing her.
