Slender Son: *in a hospital bed*
Slender Man: *holds Slender Son's hand*
Me: *runs into the room with Officer Frost*
Officer Frost: I am so sorry Slender Man. He just ran out in front of me and the steering wheel wouldn't move. It was like my car had a mind.
Slender Man: It's okay Frost.
Me: *tries to walk up to my son but gets pulled back by Officer Frost* Why can't I go to my son?
Officer Frost: *leans in to whisper in Izzy's ear* Because of what you did. You know what I'm talking about.
Me: *looks down with tears in my eyes, walks out of the room, sits down on the bench outside the room, and curls up into a ball crying silently*
Officer Frost: Sorry.
Slender Man: It's okay. She deserves it.
Officer Frost: *nods in agreement* I got to get her back to the jail.
Slender Man: Okay. Please tell her that I love her and I will try and visit her soon.
Officer Frost: *opens the door and starts to walk out* Okay.
Me: *looks up with tears in my eyes* What? Are we leaving?
Officer Frost: *nods*
Me: Okay. *gets up and wipes my tears away* I just wanted to see my son. What if one of your sons or daughters got hurt and you couldn't see them because you got arrested?
Officer Frost: I never thought of it like that.
Me: Of course, you didn't. You, cops, don't think about others. You only think about yourselves.
Officer Frost: *looks at Izzy* I'm sorry.
Me: I don't care. *walks to the police car*
Officer Frost: *goes to the police car and drives Izzy to the jail*
Me: *gets out and goes to my room*
