Chapter 1: Gabriela Miller and Blake Jackson

I'm Gabriela Miller, but everyone calls me Gabby. I'm a senior in high school and a basketball player.

"Gabby! Practice changed its today right after school!" Mr. Ryan screamed

"Gotcha coach!" I yelled back

He gave me a thumbs up and I started walking to my locker. I grabbed all my books and headed out to put my stuff in the field house. Which is basically where the locker rooms are for sports and stuff. I walked in and my team greeted me.

"Hey there she is!" The co-captain said

"What up Paula?" I replied

"You heard about practice being changed?"

"Yup I ran into coach earlier"

"Alright see you in english"

I nodded my head as I put my combination into my lock. I opened it and threw my basketball bag inside. I shut it and locked it up again. I stared there for a second and my best friend comes running over. She jumped on my back and I looked at her.

"Hey guess who's waiting outside for you!" She screamed

"Get off my back Angie" I replied

"Oh fine"

She got off and smiled at me. She plays soccer but right now, she's in winter track. She smiled at me and I laughed.

"Prince charming is waiting for you!" Angie said

I raised an eye brow.

"Prince charming?" I questioned

She started to giggle.

"As if you don't know!" Angie said

"I don't know what your talking about Angie!"I replied

"Blake's out there!"

A smile grew on my face. Blake, Blake Jackson my best friend since we were four. I ran outside of the locker room and saw him leaning against the wall. I smiled, he hasn't been here for a week he was on vacation.

"Blakey!!!" I screamed

He looked at me and a smile grew on his face. I ran towards him and jumped on him making lose his balance. We fell to the ground and smiled. We started to laugh but I wouldn't get up.

"Hey babe" Blake said

"I missed you so much! You are NEVER leaving me again" I said

"I'm sorry, I really missed you too"

I smiled and got up. He kissed my cheek and I heard an aw. We turned around and saw Angie smiling at us.

"Can you two go out already I mean come on!" Angie said

"When you get a boyfriend" I teased

We started to laugh and she blushed.

"You guys know I can't get one!" Angie said

"No you can, but your to shy love" I said

"Then help me!"

"Maybe"

She pouted and left to class. I looked at Blake and he smiled at me.

"Ok bell is about to ring but you are telling me EVERYTHING about being in England! It must have been cool going there!" I said

"Are we still going to Japan over the summer?" Blake asked

"Yes!"

He smiled and we hugged. We headed to our next classes. I smiled as I walked into my first class. I saw the star of the boys basketball team staring right at me. I smiled and started walking to my seat. He's so cute!
