Wren POV
Hi I'm Wren. I'm 16 years old and I live in New York City. My life couldn't get any better! I have an amazing boyfriend named Zac and two great best friends Lila and Jamie.
"Wren I need to talk to you!" my mom calls.
"okay I'll be right down!"
I hope out of my bed and go downstairs. I see both my parents sitting at the table looking serious. Hm I wonder what this is about.
"Wren honey sit down." my mother says. So I do as I'm told...
"We're moving" she says.
WHAT?! I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO PROCESS THIS!
"moving where?" I try to stay calm.
"California" she says.
"across the country?!" I can't control my anger anymore.
"we can't! I'm finally starting to fit in!"
"we leave in a week Wren."
I can't believe this my life has just been turned upside down. There's only one place I can go... Zac's! He'll know what to say. I grab my keys and walk out without telling my parents where I'm going. I start my five minute drive to Zac's. When I get there I knock on the door. No answer. Thank god I know where the key is. So I pick it up from under the flower pot and unlock the door. I hear banging upstairs so I get worried.. I decide to walk up the stairs anyways and what I see is worse than a burglar. I see Zac and Naomi (the schools slut) fucking!!
"Zac it's over! You two deserve each other."
I walk out not even waiting for a response. I drive home and cry my eyes out. I cant believe he'd do that! Guess moving won't be so bad after all.
