Hello, my name is Steven. I am an orphan that recently got adopted by a family. They wanted 3 children but after the second kid they had some medical emergencies that wouldn't allow them to have another child in their blood so they decided to adopt me. My new moms name is JoAnne And my new dads name is Ethan and they had 2 daughters. I didn't really care about them because they were mean to me.They would steal my things and lock me in the room
There's a room at our stairs going up to the second floor and there's a door at the top. It was a weird way to build a room but I've always felt like I would be snatched by something in the room and it would eat me.
It's September 12th 1988 and JoAnne's grandma came over to our house and so did her friend who was a man in a blue outfit and he would always be close to her telling her what to do.
I asked JoAnne who the man was and what's wrong with her mom
Ethan smacked me across the face telling me I was dumb for asking that.
I went to bed after getting slapped because I wasn't expecting it.And since I had went to bed middle of the day I had woke up at about a quarter to 2 am.I dont think thats why I woke up though because i had heard screams from the room next to mine and I was scared so i buried myself under my covers then I heard it stop and had expected they were fine but I then heard a thud and got out of my bed and grabbed a plastic pirate sword I hid under my bed.I opened my door and I saw the staircase downstairs as well as JoAnnes mom at the end of it with blood spilling out of her head
Suddenly, I heard a creaking noise that made me cringe and turn fastly, considering I was scared it had immediantly turned to see a tall skinny man. Skinny like they haven't eaten in years.The things legs started crackling and it paused looking at me and then JoAnnes mom screamed once more and it caught my attention but then I had heard it run at me and I ran out the door and I woke up and Ethan walked into the hall seeing me with a toy sword in my hand and grandma bleeding out on our wooden staircase and he yelled at me
"What have you done"
I looked at grandma and I started to cry
September 28
Today we all went to see grandma put in the ground JoAnne says its a casket
I've never seen JoAnne so upset and Ethan blames me for grandma's death and JoAnne thinks it was grandma's helper that pushed her down the stairs. She said she's going to press charges..whatever that means.
I don't know how to feel right now.I don't feel safe here and Ethan thinks i killed grandma
September 29
I sat with JoAnne while she started to get ready for the day by making coffee and starting eggs and bacon while everyone else was still asleep but since I knew I wasn't safe I stayed up all night. JoAnne talked about grandma loving a show that played on tv in the mornings called I Love Lucy.Since grandma passed I got her tv since..she can not really use it anymore.I also got her vhs player.After Ethan helped me hook up my tv I turned the tv on and the static of the tv blasted through my room echoing throughout the upstairs hallway. I instantly covered my ears and Ethan looked disappointed at me and he turned the tv off "well...at least it works" Ethan said.
JoAnne took me to a thrift store to buy some vhs tapes for me
I found this one tape called Fritz the cat and I grabbed it off the shelf.JoAnne grabbed it out of my hand and read the cover that read "we're not x rated for nothin"
"Let's go to another isle"
We walked away from the isle I found Fritz the Cat.We went into the adventure isle and we found Raiders Of The Lost Ark as well as a Star Wars movie I snuck in a Jaws vhs tape instantly one of the tvs hanging up played a trailer of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.Suddenly I heard a slam and I turned around to see a bathroom door I couldn't find JoAnne in the store so instead I went to the bathroom door thinking she was inside and I waited for her but when I heard a sound like a girl crying I opened the door and in the sink was a vhs tape called smile and then the toilet in the bathroom flushed by itself "JoAnne? Are you there?" The bathroom door slammed and I jumped in shock and after silence the sounds of a chainsaw being started was heard from the other side of the door.I slowly sat down in the bathroom corner to try and get as far away as possible from the door
"LEAVE ME ALONE"
Suddenly the door handle moved and the door opened and JoAnne was there looking confused and worried.She was at the counter the whole time buying the vhs tapes "let's go home" JoAnne said to me in a disappointed voice.
