Pretending

I look around,

All I can see is your face.

As I feel this feeling surround me,

All over time and space.

I don’t know why I feel like this,

I just want to know if you feel the same.

Those crystal clear ocean blue eyes haunt my dreams,

So wild and free, drawing me closer to being tame.

That voice runs through my mind countinously,

Helping me make the decisions that will you proud.

Sailing on the sea of happiness,

Hoping my boat wont run aground.

I keep pretending I don’t love you,

Because im scared of your answer.

I keep closing my eyes,

Holding my breath waiting to happily ever after.

My mind runs on the endless road of hope,

Wishing you will stop pretending.

If we keep pretending we will never be happy,

We would just forget everything worth remembering.

Tell me when I can stop pretending.

We are running back and forth on thoughts.

Just let our hearts take control and see where it takes us,

Friendship, love, relationship, or siblings?

Im tired of being confused….

Just tell me when we are gonna stop pretending were head over heels with eachother.
