Patroclus sighed and sat in the library window, a book propped open in his lap.

Percy had disappeared too. Three days ago. Nico was scouring the Underworld, though technically there should be no contact with any of the gods, and Patroclus was digging through his libraries, trying to find a clue. But there had been no missing Greek heroes before. He had a son of Mars searching with a son of Athena and they were making more progress than him.

But he still had to try.

Nico came tumbling into the room beside him, wearing a white button up, a black vest, and black pants. His style had changed considerably since coming to live in New Troy.

"Nico!" Patroclus said.

Nico groaned and rubbed his head. "I need to work on landings."

Patroclus chuckled and offered him a flask of unicorn draught. Nico took it and practically chugged it.

The two boys sat down again as an Iris message shimmered to life in front of them. Annabeth's face was stormy, though she looked proud of herself.

"What happened?" Patroclus asked. He leaned forward and his hair fell over his eyes.

"We found three new half-bloods. But... the clue Hera gave me just led to an amnesiac boy."

"Named?" he prompted.

"Jason."

"Last name?"

"Doesn't remember it."

"Dang it!" Patroclus swore. "I really thought we were onto something."

Annabeth shrugged. "One more thing: your name is prominent in everything we've asked him about."

Patroclus paled. "I'll be there by dinner."

Annabeth swiped through the IM and Patroclus turned to Nico.

"It's okay if you don't want to go, but I need to alert everyone else. Reginald can guide everyone while I'm gone but —"

"I'm going," Nico interrupted. "Maybe just alert your guards."

Patroclus nodded and flicked his hair over his shoulder. He straightened his blazer over his t-shirt and started out the door. He called for his guards to alert the others as he and Nico went to pack their bags for a short stay.

Once they were ready, Patroclus grabbed his weapons and strapped them appropriately. He tucked his crown into his pack and he and Nico made their way to the throne room.

Everyone was gathering. Louis, Jamie, and three others were organizing them so that Patroclus and Nico could leave as soon as possible.

Reginald was leaning on his cane, watching everyone else.

"Alright!" Patroclus called out loudly. "Settle down, everyone!"

The noise died down.

"Annabeth just contacted us. We think that she might have accidentally found Jason Grace."

Chatter exploded through the room.

"Silence!" Reginald shouted. Silence fell over the room again.

"We are leaving immediately. There is no argument — we have no time to spare. Reginald, I would like to reinstate you as Head Advisor and Regent."

The old man stumbled. "Me? Why me?"

"You know these people better than any other living person," Patroclus pointed out. "I need you to take care of them while I'm gone."
