CH 1: The Encounter

NITYA'S POV :

First day of my class, excited I open the door to the room but all of it drowned the moment I saw him. My enemy, my nemesis ,my past , the person I thought I will never see again in my life. ROHAN. I mean has he taken an oath to never let me spend a single happy moment during my academics session. We glared at each other for a brief moment. People were now looking back and forth at us. There was curiosity in each of their eyes except for one, the one who knew everything about me. Riya. My ally, my bestfriend. She had concern in her eyes. I go and sit beside her. "It is introductory class so he is here, I will not have to see his face again as he is our senior" I told Riya to make sure she thinks am comfortable.I am terrified at even the thought of seeing him five times a week. I was drifting in my thoughts when I heard my name. It was our teacher. She was calling me to check if I was in a trance (matter of fact I was in a trance). I concentrated on what she was saying for the next hour keeping him off my mind. He was not worth it.

As soon as the class was over my friends and I sped out of the room and on the street. We were laughing like mad people in front of my teachers door when we noticed him. As soon as he saw me his eyes fell and he rushed out of the street.

I could feel eyes on myself so I laughed it off and well we went home.

ROHAN'S POV:

I am not going to fall for that again. People think that she is an innocent good girl but I know the real her. A heart wrecker, an egoistic, selfish bitch! It was just a matter of day I will not have to see her again I hope. This is literally the only good thing of being in class 10 I can see right now. The moment she entered that room unannounced my heart skipped a beat. All I could do was stare back and try not to break the eye contact as if I were weak. But then on seeing her again I was overwhelmed. I could do nothing but rush out of there or I would have fallen right there.
