'Home', to some, it's like a blessing, their comfort place but to others like Sarang, it was a living hell.

She dreaded going back home after school, just the thought of it saddens her, she often felt jealous seeing her friends who excitedly make their way home with a smile on their face.

"Your not going?" Heesung asked her standing besides her.

"I will" She responded, looking at him with a soft smile and walked away.

"Later"

'Library', the library was like one of her escape place, she didn't like crowded and noisy places, she preferred being alone and quiet places so, library was the perfect place for her to have her own time.

She often stayed in the library studying till late at night because she didn't want to go home, it was the only place where she found peace, where no one is there to judge or curse her.

"Where were you?" Her dad asked as soon as she entered her house, he approached her, eyes full of anger.

"I- I was at the library studying" She stumbled back.

He was drunk, that was the reason why she was scared.

When he's not drunk, he only uses words but whenever he was drunk, he often used violence along with words.

She was just thirteen when she first got slapped by him, he hated her, he looked for ways to cuss or criticise her.

She felt as if she was adopted, like she was never his daughter.

"If you weren't born, your brother would've been here with us"

"If you weren't born, we would have been happily living our lives Lim Sarang!! you killed your brother and our happiness"

"I wish I never had a daughter like you, I wish you were never my daughter!"

"Your brother is not here with us because of you, you murderer!!!"

Again, the same words she's been hearing for the past years and the same thing her inner voice tells her.

Every word coming out from his mouth were like daggers piercing through her heart, she knows that she's the cause of all problems and she's aware of the fact that everything that happened to them is all her fault but, hasn't she suffered enough?

She has been receiving the punishment for the crime she had committed, she has been living her life in guilt and misery and it was already hard for her to handle everything, but her own father calling her a murderer has always made things worse.

"I'm sorry" She muttered, her head hung low as tears streamed down her face.

He suddenly grabbed her by the collar and landed a slap on her face, "WHY WERE YOU BORN!?? WHY DID YOU RUIN OUR FAMILY!?"He yelled and landed another slap on her cheeks letting go of her collar whilst she fell to the floor sobbing, "I'm sorry dad" She lowly muttered.

"Sarang!" Her mom, who just came back from work, exclaimed entering the room and rushing towards her daughter.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE YOU DOING!!!??" She shouted glaring at her husband.
