When Tsukasa and his ga...
"Tsukasa! Get out here!" Hanako roared as he strode through the basement corridor, his cape billowed behind him. He gripped his knife tightly in his fist. Hakujodai flitted to and fro, following close by.
"Oh Amane!" Tsukasa exclaimed as he appeared from a sudden mist, "What brings y-"
Hanako shoved Tsukasa by the shoulders, causing his brother to hit the ground hard. He lay sprawled on the floor, too stunned to speak. He looked up at Hanako with wide eyes.
"What the HELL was that about? You could have gotten Yashiro KILLED!" Hanako boomed. His voice echoed in the concrete space as he seethed. His amber eyes burned into his brother.
"Whatever do you mean?" Tsukasa asked, pulling an innocent face.
"Shut up! I'm not playing your stupid games. I know you and your lackeys sent Yashiro to that Nowhere space!" he pointed his knife at Tsukasa accusingly.
"We just wanted to play with her! She and Natsuhiko are fine! Besides..," he said coolly, picking up his hat and adjusting it on his head, "can you blame me for wanting to get to know the girl that's stolen my brother's heart?"
Hanako turned away. He couldn't stand to look at him any longer.
"I should have known better than to trust you. Just stay away from her... or else," he turned to make his leave.
"Wait, Amane! What if there was a place where Yashiro couldn't get hurt?"
Hanako stopped in his tracks. Against his better judgment, he asked, "...What?"
Tsukasa noticed Hanako's hesitation and smiled cruelly to himself before continuing, "You heard me. I said... what if there was a place where Yashiro couldn't get hurt?"
Hanako didn't move. Tsukasa stood and swiped away the dust from his robe.
"What are you talking about?" Hanako didn't look back as he spoke.
"Just leave it to me, Amane, I'll fix everything. I promise I'll make everything better," Tsukasa purred.

Hanako turned, but all he saw was what remained of the mist his brother left behind.
In this story I imply that it was Tsukasa's idea to use Mai's power to create a "perfect" world. I always found it just a bit out of character for Hanako to want to trap Yashiro in a fake world, but I could definitely see him being convinced by his brother out of desperation to save Yashiro.
