~~Quick word from the author before I begin, I spent so much time away before Chapter 2 that I accidentally forgot Talia existed, so I am going to have her perspective in this chapter, if you like it, I'll do some more of it, today it is more of an apology for forgetting the baby Stegoceratops existed, we'll just say she went to age up and she'll come back during the chapter. Enjoy the chapter~~

I sat on the railing of the new camp, the others had finished building it a few days ago, I stared down as Darius seemed to be taking notes on a small group of sleeping Compies on a cloth, writing away in his notepad as the Compies napped peacefully, the only time they aren't causing us trouble.

Sadly the peaceful moment was ruined by Kenji stopping over and scaring the tiny creatures away.

"Shoo, you retro iguanas!" He snapped at the speedy buggars, before he picked up the cloth and shook, unintentionally on Darius, who shielded his face and notepad.

"Careful Dipshit, you could have hurt someone." I warned, resting against the railing as I pulled myself back into the camp to settle on the couch, Darius coming up a bit later to join me, I had gotten a lot better since it was built, able to rest more and gain more strength to move around.

And thankfully the wound was healing ok, especially since I could clean it properly now, speaking of which, I heard Kenji turn on the home made shower, before he cried out in shock from the temperature.

"Does this water ever get warm!?" He squealed, causing me to laugh at his suffering, before I turned my head, hearing Yas' voice.

"Okay." she spoke, walking down from the sleeping area, moving past Sammy who struggled to open a can with an ice cream scoop, I blinked for a moment at her frustration, before turning back, looking out at the forest.

"Talia's been gone for so long, do you think she's ok?" I asked, I had noticed during the time that the camp was being rebuilt that I hadn't seen or heard her for a while, I didn't know when she had gone missing and no one could find her.

"I'm sure Talia will be fine, she's a baby, but she has survival instincts, I'm sure we'll find her soon." Darius tried to assure me, I stared back at him, she's still only a baby, my baby, and I can't go looking for her.

"Oh sorry, Yas!" Sammy's voice cut in, causing me to look over, Sammy seemed to have dropped the can and it had rolled over to Yas' bad ankle, which the others were able to patch up a make shift splint for it.

"It's cool." She assured Sammy, marking down something on a chalk board, before she walked over to sit with Darius and I.

"Don't worry too much about Talia, she'll come back when she's ready." She told me, causing me to look over at her for a moment, before I sighed out.

"Alright, but if she's not back in the next day, I'm going out to find her, I don't  care what any of you say." I warned them, I couldn't just leave her out there.

It was silent for a bit, only a short while, until a loud thump caught our attention, Kenji had thrown a water cooler at the table, jolting everyone out of their thoughts, well, except for Brooklyn who was still up in bed.

"No mas agua. A little help!" Kenji called out, waving to us from behind the wood keeping showers private, Darius moved to stand up.

"I got you, Kenj." Darius told him, moving to get the water cooler and heading towards the slide Yas had everyone add in.

Yas sat up as Darius moved away, leaning against the couch for support.

"If you keep doing that for him, he'll never learn to do it for himself." She told Darius, who stopped at the slide and shrugged at her, before he went down to get some water from the river near us, leaving us to our own thoughts, Sammy came to us with my book, she had found it when they were rebuilding the camp.
