The children of the Phoenix clan were born by the legendary bird itself, with the ability of their offspring running through their veins. From them, they drink the blood of humans and release their venom through its veins and convert them into a vampire. The vampires who was bitten by them are known as purebloods/noble bloods. The purebloods who bit a human cannot pass their royalty as a pureblood to them, instead they are labeled as half blood vampires.
The Phoenix Clan, is not like your typical vampire whose in the stories that can expose themselves in sunlight without getting burnt nor die. They are afraid of sunlight and other traditional anti-vampire relics such as garlic, cross shapes and holy water. They have these weaknesses but have their very own strengths. These strength is the ability they inherit from where they came from. When one of them dies, they will turn into ashes and in an instant they will regenerate their bodies again as if it was not destroyed. Because of their ability that their clan only have, they are known as the immortals among immortals.
They had a contract and promise to the humans that they will become a vampire in exchange of their future position as the higher rank in the vampire society, to provide rules, regulations and to handle the half-bloods they created in their respective area. The Phoenix Clan did this contract because they don't want to put their clan's name into shame or get into trouble if ever one of the half-bloods nor the purebloods disobey one of the rules inside their society.
