Elowen's POV

"Momma! Dad! I'm home!" I yelled as I entered my house. But there was no response. "Momma? Clem?" I ask looking around my house. I walk down the hallway making my way to the kitchen noticing some pictures that were knocked down and some were crooked. There were also scratches on the floor, I slowly approach the kitchen seeing the drops of what looked like blood on the floor. I walk in to the kitchen and it is almost entirely covered in blood, I look to my left to see my father on the wall.

Dead.

I look by the sink and see my mother.

Dead.

I feel a breeze and look towards the entry that leads to back door and I see that the back door is open. I run back to the front door and run out and I run all the way to my sister's house.

I knock on the door. No one answers. I knock again and this time someone opens the door. "Winnie? You're back! Hey-" she cuts herself off when she sees the tears falling down my eyes.

"What happened?" She asked, "M-Momma she-" I choked out "Elowen... what happened?" she asked again. And I break down right then and there, not even inside the house yet. "Oh- Winnie," She hugs me and I hug her aswell "They're gone, Clem," I tell her, still sobbing. "Who?" She asks "M-Momma and daddy, they're gone, Clem," I tell her, sniffling. "What?" and I can tell by her voice she's on the verge of tears.

She takes me into the house and closes the front door. She then leads me to the living room and we both sat there hugging each other and crying our eyes out.

"They're still there, Clem," I told her, she then grabs her keys and walks out the door. "Huh? Wait!" I shouted after her stumbling out the door and towards her car, "Clem, don't leave me here." I finished " Then get in," she stated I get in the car and we drive back to our parent's house.

We pull into the drive way and get out of the car. The front door is still open from when I ran out.

We walk into the house, I go to the kitchen and Clem follows. I walk into the kitchen and I see their bodies are gone.

"They were right here..." I told her, "Are you sure?" She asks. "Yes I'm 100% sure, daddy was there on the wall and momma was by the sink and-" I look to the back door, "That door was open..."

Just then the door knob turned. Clem grabbed my arm and right then I see writing on the wall. We run back out the front door, we get into her car and she pulls out the driveway and we head back to her house.

"There was this writing on the wall..." I started "Well what did it say?" Clem asked "It said 'I'll be back for you' or something I don't know." I replied, "Should we call the police?" I asked her, "Probably..." she told me.

3rd POV

"Winnie, you ready?" Elowen's and Clementine's Aunt Adrienne asked as she stood in Elowen's bedroom. "Yeah," the girl replied shedding a tear. It was her parents' funeral today. "Let's go," her aunt told her going downstairs, Elowen followed after her.

They were now throwing their roses on their parents' caskets.

They were heading back to Clem's house to start packing as the girls decided to live with their aunt.

It was the next day and they had everything packed and were on their way to their aunt's house. Adrienne lived on Maple Street it wasn't that far but it doesn't mean it was close either.

Elowen's POV

We pulled into Auntie Ri's driveway and I got out of the car. I opened the trunk and got a few of my bags out.

I went to the front door and rang the doorbell. A few seconds passed and the door opened, "Hey Winnie," Aunt Ri greeted me. "Hi Tee Tee," I said back giving her a small smile.

I walked in the house and placed my bags by the stairs then went back out to get the rest of my bags.

We finished get everything in the house and now I'm halfway through unpacking. My room isn't that big but it's not small, There's a bed and two side tables along with a trunk at the end of the bed. It was some more space where I could put a vanity.

I grab the conditioners and shampoos my mom made and put them in the conjoined bathroom that I share with my sister since it's connected to both of our rooms. I was running out of conditioner so I'm glad she gave me the recipe or I would have to use white hair products and it probably wouldn't do anything good for my hair.

I finished unpacking and by the time I finished dinner was ready. I went downstairs and into the dining room, I sat down and looked at the plate in front of me. My aunt blessed the food then we started eating.

After we were done my sister washed the dishes and I dried them and put them up.

I was dressed for bed and I had just finished brushing my teeth. I turned the light off and made my way to my bed and tried to fall asleep

Next morning
Elowen's POV

I woke up still a little tired after about nine and a half hours of sleep. But I guess it wasn't an exact nine and a half hours, though, it was more along the lines of four hours.

After I went to sleep I had this very vivid nightmare about my parents' death with what looked like even more blood.

I decided not to think about it for the rest of day.

A good thing would probably be that I didn't have to go back to school until around the end of September...
