Dark world

The Attack

The sky starts to darken a bad shade of gray in the distance as I look outside the window. I look down towards the ground to see an army marching towards the village I live in. I look over at my little sis and I run over to her.

"We must hide now.."I quickly grab her hand and I bring her downstairs. She looks at me with concern.

"What is it big brother...?"I start to move the floor board up and I placed her there. I grab the floor board again and I jump down next to her putting the floorboard back in its normal spot. I look down at her and smile.

"Listen little sis we're gonna have to stay quiet. If we don't we won't be able to get your favorite food later." She smiled brightly and nodded. She starts to puff up her cheeks and looks at me. I start to breath lightly as well trying to make sure that the people don't find me.
Soon the door flies open. I start to tense up and I grab my sister.
I silently tell her to shush. The men start to look around the house breaking everything they can. I hear one of them talk. There voice sounded dark and almost Possessed like.

"Search everywhere...burn it down if you find no one.!!!" They start to enhance the noise of things being broken. I knew most of them are the beds tables cabinets. Soon they were right on top of us. I can hear the creaking of the wood against the heavy boots of the solders. He started to look down at the rug and then it happened. The wood started to break under the heavy weight of the solders and he fell. We watched the soldier get up from his fall. He stared at us and smiled.
"Hey guys we got two more stowaway here.." He walked over towards us and tried to grab my little sister. I quickly pulled her away from his reach. He stared at me and smiled as if he found something important.

"Hey I think this is him!! Someone get the general here!!" He grabbed my and sister resistance was futile. He threw us out of the house and into the center square of town. I held my little sister close making sure she doesn't leave my sight. They threw us into the group of other villagers. Most of them I knew. The baker, blacksmith, shopkeepers, everyone that helped us when me and my sister settled down here were there in the group. I could see some of the soldiers around talking. Three even started to torture a man. I could hear the soldiers talking to him.
"I bet you'll think twice before trying to escape us." He said laughing after each whip and slice. The man was yelling out in pain, his voice was the only one you could hear. The others stayed silent and still until they heard the sound of a horse. A black stallion appeared from the trees and riding him was a solider with gold encrusted armor.the other soldiers all lined up and saluted. The horsemen spook soon after yelling to make sure everyone can hear him.

"Where is he...where is Eric kysmuno !!" He look towards the crowd of villagers scanning for my face. A soldier broke away from the line and grabbed my shoulder. He dragged me to the front and threw me at the feet of the general. I start to slowly get up,but I felt a force pushing me down. The general pushed me back down with his iron boot.

"So this person is who the master wants...pathetic." He raised his foot from my face and kicked me away.
"Cuff him and put him in with the others.." The soldiers listened immediately and cuffed me. They grabbed my arms and dragged to a carriage. I stare back at the general he was ordering the other soldiers to take the villagers into a small group. Soon after they grouped up the villagers he raised his hand. I remembered that stance that he did.
"Oh no Kushiro!!" I try to break free from the soldiers grip but it was no use. The general arm came down and a line of archers fired at the group of villagers. The villagers start to drop like flies one by one by one. Soon the firing stop and only my little sister Kushiro stayed there. She look at me and I could see a tear rolling down her face. The general jumped down from his horse and stood in front of my sister. He looked over at me.

"And all that's left is your sweet little sister.." He takes out his sword from the holder and held it in the air.
" I wonder what would happen if I'd kill her right now...would you kill me" He laughs and stares at her with a devilish look. He raises his sword over his head and swipes down at my sister. Her blood gushed out from her chest. She drops down and lays there not moving a muscle.

"K..k..,Kushiro!!!" I try to break free from the grip,but the soldiers keep their hold on me keeping me contained. I keep trying to let break free trying to get to my sister. The general stared at me as he puts his sword back into his holder. He walks over and stopped I front of me. He smile and laughed.

"So this is how you'll react...pathetic.."he kicks me in the stomach and I cough out some blood.

"Put him in the carriage we're leaving now.." He turned around and headed back towards his horse. The soldiers that held me dragged me to the carriage and threw me in. They locked the door and threw the keys to general.

"We're all set over here sir we are ready to head out when you are." The soldier saluted towards him and stayed in that position.

"Good..let's head out. The master should be happy with our findings." The horse Neighed and start to gallup away into the wood. The carriage horse soon followed and I was still laying there in the cell in the back of the carriage heading out to a place I don't know.
