Recovery

I start to slowly open my eyes and I scan the room. It was all hardened clay and some cracks. The room a bed, a closet, a window to look out at the vast forest.

"What....happened.." I placed my hand over my chest. I felt a pain vibrating from my body. I start to slowly stand until I hear the door open. I froze on the spot as I stare at the door opening. The person behind the door was....a cat, not a human. The cat yawned and looked at me with its purple eyes. It started to walk over to me as I stand up from the bed.

"And who are you little one...?" I lean down and I pet her. She purred as I placed my hand on her black fur. I laughed a little, but soon stopped. I lefts a quick jolt through my body. Before I knew my face right on the floor. The floor was cold and I felt a pain in my chest.

"What's happening...to me!?" I yell out in pain the feeling slowly went through my body. I start to slowly stand up. I use my hand to assist me in that. I finally stand on my legs and I start to breath heavily. The pain stopped and I regain control. After sitting down back on the bed the door opened again. This time it was a person.

"Oh your awake...that's good...the merging process was a success.." She sounded a little shocked. She had long blonde hair and was wearing a brown rag dress. She was holding a bowl of hot water as well a small rag hanging on her arm. She placed the bowl on a nearby table. "Plz take off your shirt and lay down on your stomach," she said as she dipped the rag into the water. I did what I was told and I took off the shirt. It was heavy with sweat and stained with blood. As I threw the shirt away towards the other side of the room the lady was already waiting. I finally spoke as she started to clean my back. "What is this place and who are you..?"
I had so many more questions. What happened to me? How do I get out of here? Why is my little sister...the dark lord? She replied as I was asking myself these questions. "My name is Sarah Lizabeth the second and your at the infirmary. I'm surprised you survived...not many people survive the process of vesseling."
I heard a laugh as she finished speaking. She dips the rag back into the water and I looked over at me. "It'll be good if you come with me for a little...just to make sure that everything is fine with your body.."
I thought for a moment but then agreed. I slowly stood up and I began to walk towards the door. The girl followed me out. As she opened the door, a man in a wheelchair passed the door. The nurse pushing the chair looked at Sarah a little pissed. I noticed it instantly so I was a little confused. "Did something happen between you and that other nurse?" Sarah quickly looked over at me and slowly shook my head. "No I think it's because she wanted to be your assistant.."
I look down a little confused. "Why is being my assistant such a big thing..?"
Sarah looked at me and laugh a little. "Because your a demon heart now...those type of people are if here."
My eyes widen as I heard the words demon and heart. I was one of them...what are they.. I shake the thought to the back of my head. "Mind me asking where is the exit...I'd like to get some fresh air.." The nurse smiled and navigated me towards the door. I look around at all the other injuries people their. They all stared back in a disgusted looked on their face. They must all know already..know that I'm a demon-heart. I sights I slowly open the door to the outside. The breeze went pass my body as I open the door fully. We were on a big open hardened clay layout surrounded by trees. I started to walk forward as the nurse stayed in and out of the corner of my eye I see a flash. It was a magic circle floating in the air and a person behind it. I quickly duck as I hear a familiar voice yell out.. "Move out of the way knuckle head!!" A stream of purple lightning appears over my head as I lay on the cold brown flat roof. I get back and I brush myself off I look up to see a familiar face...it was Luna. "What the hell were you thinking!!!??" I blink twice not knowing what to say.. "Umm..." I look back to see the nurse disappeared in horror so I was alone on this. Turning back to her I sense a little annoyed emotion on her face. "Umm...well...don't really know.." I point towards the door fairest away from us. "I came from there and I've been having this strange feeling in my chest." I place my hand over the spot my heart is. She blinked quickly and then a smile started to appear on her face.
"Yay your finally one of us!" She hopped twice in place, looking only at my chest. She swirled her whip and placed it on her belt. She started to walk towards the door pass me, but she stops and turn her head towards me.
"Follow me I wanna show you something." She walks past and towards the door the nurse went through. I follow not knowing where we're going but I had nothing better to do now. Even I tried to escape Luna and Nashi would just go hunt me down.
We pass through the infirmary and went down the hall, as we stop at a metal door a few Guards surround us. One guards that looked like a corporal walked into the circle with us.
"What is the Devil whip and..." It took him a second to recognize who I was.
"And a prisoner doing here. This place is for soldiers only.!" Luna stares at him and grabbed the handle of her whip. The soldiers start to back off lowering their spears. The corporal did budge but I didn't if it was from fear or confidence. She moves the handle and then whip looks like it came to life. It entangled the corporal and then threw him back.
"Leave us be, we'll be out before you know it." She opened the door and she entered inside. Looking around I notice a ton of soldiers at tables and a few walking out bumping into me but standing clear of Luna. This place was like a bar with food, drinks and waitresses...probably all the waiters were turned into soldiers. I quickly follow behind Luna to a nearby table and we both sit down. I look around and then I ask her. "Hey why are we here in the first place..?" She looks to meet my face.
"Oh I thought you'd be hungry so I thought why not dine it the only place we can.."

I sigh and then I stare at the table. The smell of the food made my stomach grumble and more and more I thought that this was a really good idea. I walk in and sit at a nearby table and Luna follows close behind so that we wouldn't get separated. As we both sit down we can hear whispers all around us form the waitresses to the soldiers the ones I heard the most was "what is one of the generals doing here especially with member of shadow corp."

I got bad vibes from all but a waitress came over and gave us menus I look up and smile but she just looked away. I could see a little blush thou. I look down and open the menu. They had many things here that looked good so it wasn't hard to choose just because I would eat anything. I tell the waitress and she grabs the menu. she looks over at Luna and turns quickly back at me. I laugh a little and Luna finally tells the waitress her order. She seemed pissed off and not talkative at all. I sigh and finally gain the courage to ask her. "hey Luna you ok.. you seem....jealous?"

As the word exit my mouth she turns her head towards and I could see that her entire face got red. She started to slowly stand and her hair covers her eyes, but I could already tell that what's about to happen wasn't good. With one swift breath she grabs her whip and jumps back and cracks it at me. I quickly go under the table to dodge it, but she cracks it again for another hit this time I had to roll so I wouldn't be broken in have like the table. After the last crack she did she finally spoke. "You never you say "are you jealous" to a girl!!"

she storms out and the soldiers clear the way for her. As she left all their looks travels to me and I just stared at the exit confused. I sigh and walk out as well heading into a random direction. "Damn I was never good at flirting with girls..." I walk towards the outside and then it happened. The alarm went off and the soldiers started to run. I turn quickly and I yell out,"what's happening?!" I rush with them not sure what to do but I just have to see for myself.
