Finding Out Their Identity
A/N: I'm back with an update! Thanks for all the reads, favorites and comments y'all, no matter how little it might be, because it means a lot to me :) Today I decided to do this because of course you'd like to find out how the Avengers' children reacted to who they truly are, right? Send in those requests and thoughts please.... Enjoy :)
Glossary:
(Y/S/N) - Your sister's name
(Y/E/C) - Your eye colorBruce Banner:
You were five when you found out. You were with your parents and older sibling, (Y/S/N). You were out in the woods, where your dad said it was best to camp out. You always wondered why, but shrugged it off as you went to play with your dolls. After a few minutes of your sister gone to find some wood, you heard your mother shouting. Scared, you ran to her, and saw a giant green monster.
"Bruce please it's me!" She begged. Your eyes widened. "Daddy?"
Tony Stark:
You actually found out a very young age. Whenever news flashed of 'Iron Man', you wondered how awfully familiar the dude looked without the faceplate. His name was never mentioned a lot really, but he looked like your dad. What also hinted that your dad was Iron Man was whenever your dad had interviews, he almost always talked about the metal dude all the time, and he looked exactly like Iron Man but with shades always in handy.
"So, daddy." Your curled up in his lap, making him chuckle.
"Yes dear?"
"You're Iron Man." You bluntly stated, your (Y/E/C) eyes curiously staring at him. His eyes widened for a moment before laughing in victory. "Yes kid, I am Iron Man.... See Pep, I told you (Y/N) got all of her genes from me!"
Steve Rogers:
It was very simple to find out due to the shield that lay on the bed. You had wanted to get something from your parents' shared room. As you entered, you saw the trademark shield on the bed. You then realized that your father couldn't possibly just be any fan, because then you saw the other patriotic item: his uniform. His eyes widened once he saw you.
"Captain America huh dad."
Natasha Romanoff:
Natasha never really had an official identity, but still. You were actually going home from school. You were supposedly waiting for her, but instead another agent, Agent Hill, came. You didn't know who she was, but she dragged you inside the vehicle anyway to explain.
"So in short my mom kicks ass?" You summarized. Agent Hill couldn't help but laugh.
"Yes, exactly what I mean."
Clint Barton:
"Where are you going this time, daddy?" You asked, clinging on to his leg. He was going to go away again! At three, you didn't know why, and now you wanted to know. Clint sighed. He carefully drew back his bow and arrow.
"Kid, I'll be fine... Hawkeye will be fine." Your eyes lit up in curiosity.
"Hawkeye?"
"Uhh... Yes." Clint's eyes widened.
Thor:
Your dad never really had an identity, except when on earth.... Plus, you see him with the hammer almost all the time.
Bucky Barnes:
It was really hard for your dad to hide his secret, considering his metal arm. But, he'd still try to answer as childlike as possible whenever you'd ask.
"Daddy, what's with the metal arm?" Your three year old self settled on your father's lap. He sighed and stroked your hair.
"Sweetie, let's just say they called me the Winter Soldier."
Phil Coulson:
"Why do you have a gun dad?" Your eight year old self asked your dad, who seemed to be testing a gun. He accidentally released the trigger and still hit a target perfectly. Your dad was usually away, but you never knew why.
"Oh god (Y/N), what are you doing here?"
"You didn't answer me." You pouted. He sighed and bent at your height. He put a hand on your shoulder.
"Let's just say, your daddy is an agent keeping his family safe."
Maria Hill:
Maria Hill never really hid it from you. She still never specified her missions, but she knew that it was okay to tell you.
"Is that why you're always away?" You first asked when she told you. She nodded.
"But I will always come back for you, my love."
Loki:
"You were a villain daddy?" You gasped as you watched the news. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed.
"Yes my love, I was..."
"But... You always told stories of heroes... I thought you were one." Tears started to form in your young, innocent eyes. The same thing happened to him.
"Oh (Y/N)." He pulled you in for a hug.
Bonus:
Pietro Maximoff:
"Daddy." You called for your dad, who was instantly by your side. "Why are you always so quick? How come I'm not?"
He laughed slightly before kissing your forehead. "That information is classified my dear."
You pouted. "But...." He shushed you. "Let your quick, silver haired dad go back to business." He winked. You continued to ask the next day.
Wanda Maximoff:
As your mom entered your room, you saw that the door shut by itself. There wasn't any type of wind, "Mommy, how'd you do that?"
Your mom gave you a confused look as she carried you. "Do what baby?"
You smiled as you heard her Sokovian accent. "Move and do things by yourself... It's like you can control minds or something."
Your mom laughed nervously. "That.. That's called telekinesis my love, and something not to be discussed until you are a bit older."
A/N: Sorry if it some of it sucked... I will accept criticism and ideas, so keep them going! Until the next update, my friends :) Oh, and sorry for all my grammar errors.
Short Rant:
OMG I AM SO EXCITED FOR CAP CIVIL WAR BECAUSE DUH...PLUS ALL OF THE PICS OF THEM ON SET... WITH A FUNERAL! OMG WHYYY AND JEREMY RENNER HAS NEW PICS ON SET WHICH MEANS MORE HAWKEYE AND FUC.....
