"Hi Jade!" I heard as I answer Jade's phone. My eyes widened as I recognized the voice of who was at the other end of the line.
Ashton.
"Uh, hello Ashton," I stuttered. "What are you calling for?"
"I was wondering if we could meet up sometime? I've missed you Jadey." Ashton grinned, and I swallowed. Hard.
"Uh, no we can't!" I blurted out.
"Why not?" Ashton asked, and I could hear the disappointment in his voice. Oh god, don't make me feel sorry.
"I mean yes! Yes we can Ashton! Of course we can!" I cried out, words pouring out of my mouth like an unstoppable fountain. What the hell is wrong with you Amy?!
"Oh great! When and where should we meet?" Ashton's happy voice sprung up again like a bouncy spring.
"Uh, Saturday, 11 in the morning at my place?" I asked casually, but my emotions were running wild, I felt like I could burst at any moment.
"Sounds good. I promise I'll be there! Bye!" Ashton hung up and I leaned against the wall, going down until my butt reached the floor.
I am in so much trouble.
