WARRIORS:The Strange she

1:The start

The sun had recently risen to it's highest point and MushroomPaw was sunbathing on a nearby rock

"May all cats old enough to swim through the swamp gather around the MossRock for a clan meeting!"RoseStar yowled from the moss covered rock MushroomPaw went to the rock  it was probably her warrior ceremony as she was waiting for it to happen "MushroomPaw has reached the age of 12 moons and is ready to become a warrior MushroomPaw from this day on you shall be known as MushroomField the clan commends you for your uniqueness and determination you shall sit vigil tonight meeting dismissed!"

"MushroomField MushroomField!"some cats chanted wich wasn't a surprise to her not many cats where that fond of her the one whom chanted it the loudest was IceStripe her best freind since kit-hood he might of been 3 moons older than her but that didn't matter to her atleast

"Thanks IceStripe"MushroomField sighed with a sad tone in her voice walking away from the MossRock and up to the blind tom her paws fastly tapping on the semi-wet marshy ground

"Is something wrong?"IceStripe questioned with a tilt of his head noticing the sad tone in the she-cat's voice

"Just I can remember your warrior ceremony basically everyone cheered for you yet for me only you CarpTuft and ThornPaw did for me don't you find that weird? and even their cheering seemed forced"MushroomFeild asked IceStripe stareing up at the clear bleu sky the wind buffeting her in the face

"Don't let that get to you!"IceStripe purred trying to cheer her up

"Greetings IceStripe and MushroomField I need you two to go out on a herb patrol"The deputy GoldenHowl said in his normal loud voice pointing with his snout to the medicine cat den "Go ask OwlLight what they need you to get"GoldenHowl finished and walked off

"Well let's go"IceStripe got up and stretched and sniffed the air following where the scent of herbs was the most noticeable and MushroomField followed

Once they had reached the medicine cat den OwlLight must of noticed them so they turned around the face the two white as snow warriors

"Ah hello you two what do you require?"OwlLight asked their amber eyes covered in sun-light

"Me and IceStripe are going on a herb patrol and we need to know what herbs you require"MushroomField replied shyly stepping forward looking down to the marshy ground barely making eye contact with the opposing medicine cat

"Oh let me check"OwlLight turned around to look at the well organized herbs wich their apprentice:SwampPaw had organised for them "Horsetail waterlily polen and burdrock root is all that should be rather easy to find"They finished

"Alright let's go"IceStripe said getting up and smelling his way over to the camp exit MushroomField quickly running after him her paws never making contact with the ground for long and they hoped over the small river outside of camp and they slowed down

"Alright you go look in the Pond of life I'll go smell out the horsetail and burdrock root"IceStripe said putting one of his paws infront of him

"Seems good i'll see you later"MushroomField said starting to walk to the pond of life her paws trampling over the long grass

"I'll smell you later"IceStripe said going in the opposite direction of her

MushroomField heard her friend's pawsteps and voice fade out into the distance and continued to the pond of life her paws trampling over grass and she finally arrived she grabbed some moss and sniffed each waterlily getting the pollen out of each and every one of them that had some and then went to search for IceStripe the moss clamped in her jaws but she could feel like something or someone was watching her she stopped and looked around and almost gave up but then she saw a glitter in one of the bushes like the Moonpatch but more like it was being hit by the sun she dropped down into a hunting crouch and slowly approached it pawstep by pawstep the cat came out of the bush it looked a bit like she was looking in a mirror just this cat had gemstone fragments scattered in her fur reflecting the pale sun light
