Louis was awoken by a chill of cold air brushing against his cheeks. However he didn't open his eyes because of the pure effort that that would take. Suddenly he heard his door closing and the footsteps of someone walking into his room. A rush of relief washed over him knowing that it wasn't his father. His father would usually barge into his room and slam the door. This person however was gentle as to not wake him. He then felt a body lift up his comforter and climb into bed with him pressing their face into his neck. Based on this gesture he knew it was Daisy, his youngest sister. Daisy hadn't crawled into bed with him in the middle of the night for a long time. Most likely because of Louis not being around as much as he used to.
He used to play dolls with his sisters whenever they asked him to. Until his dad told him that it was too girly and that boys shouldn't be doing that. Louis then started avoiding his dad as much as he could. Which ended in him avoiding his sisters as well.

Louis wanted to open his eyes and ask Daisy what was wrong and if she had a bad dream. But instead he chose to not disturb the little girl and pulled her even closer to his body. Warmth now radiating into his chest. He had forgotten how nice it was to cuddle with Daisy, and how she was a literal heater. When he was about to fall back asleep he felt the small body starting to shake and he heard small whimpers coming from it. He started stroking the head of the small girl while she cried. Not wanting her to have to explain to him why she was upset until she had calmed down. When the shakes came to a lull and he couldn't hear any more whimpers he sat up and pulled the little girl with him.
"What's wrong love, whats upsetting my little Daisy?"

When he didn't hear an answer from her he started getting worried. All the little girl did was pull him closer to her and push her face even farther into his neck. Trying to get as close to him as she possibly could. It seemed as though she was trying to crawl inside if him and stay there. Honestly Louis would let her if that was possible, so that he could protect her from the big bad world. Daisy has always been the more quiet twin and often the more emotional one. Louis loved her for that. The home they lived in was loud enough. Not with happy children laughter but with fights between his mom and dad, which never ended with a hug or an apology, but usually with his dad walking out and slamming the door behind him, and his mom sitting in the kitchen floor telling him and his sister to go to there room while she cried. But right now he knew he needed to find out what was wrong with his sister. He tilted daisy's chin up with his index and middle finger so that she was looking up at him.

"Daisy tell me whats wrong?" He said with a calm voice.

"It's stupid" she said while attempting to wipe the tears from her eyes.

"Nothing you say could ever be stupid" he said.

"I just..... I miss you" she said while wrapping her arms around his neck and tucking her face back into his neck.

It all suddenly hit Louis, like someone had just punched him in the gut, on how little time he has been spending with his sisters. He has been away for so long hanging with Z and smoking pot to drown out his feelings without even considering his sisters, especially Daisy.

"I'm so sorry Love. Things have just been really hard lately. I'll make it up to you I promise."

"Ice cream" the little girl said while looking up at him.

He giggled remembering how easy it was to please Daisy out of all his sisters. He knew that she didn't only want the ice cream but to spend time with him. That moment between him and his sister made his heart feel all fuzzy and warm.
