I ran as fast as I could. I kept running, faster. I glanced behind me, the footsteps were getting closer, but I couldn't see anything behind me. I knew it was there though, I could feel its breath getting closer to me. I kept running. it came closer. "You cant outrun me Y/n." The voice was distorted. AAH! I tripped and fell. 'No, no, no I cant let it get me.' I got up and kept running. There was no way id make it out now, it was catching up quickly. This is it, this is how I'm going to die

I woke up panting from running so fast. Just a dream. Then, as if he knew I had a nightmare, Han called me. "Hey, its 4 in the morning why are you calling me?" I said, the stress showing in my voice. "I just had a bad feeling, and I wanted to check on you." He said, very obviously worried about me. "I'm fine you don't need to worry about me." I rolled my eyes. "Can you drive me to school again today?" He chuckled and told me he would have offered. "You should go back to sleep, baby." Han said in a soft, caring voice. "I MEAN- OMG IGNORE THAT!" I laughed loudly. "Goodnight Han~." He said goodnight back and I ended the call.

I tried going back to sleep but it was no use, that word kept playing over and over in my mind: 'baby' he called me baby! Maybe I really had a chance with him. My alarm rang. I got up and got ready for school. There were bags and dark circles under my eyes, I easily covered the dark circles with concealer but the bags were still noticeable. I just hoped Han wouldn't notice and worry, worrying leads to mind reading, and mind reading leads to less privacy for me. Images of my nightmare flashed in front of my eyes. My breathing got shakier by each passing second, and that's when I realized I didn't write down the details from the nightmare. I quickly grabbed the notebook and wrote down everything I remembered. The images instantly stopped flashing before me. Writing about my nightmares just had that effect for some reason. I started doing this when I was around 7. since then I've always wrote down everything I remembered after a nightmare and it erased the fear, now I write stories from my nightmares. Everyone tells me I should be a professional author, but its just a hobby, my dream is to be a photographer in the summer and an English teacher during the school year. This one may be my best one yet.
