Untitled Part 6

Val's eyes slowly opened up. As she felt a huge pain on her throat. She cough, when she saw Zeke standing over her.

"Zeke?" She whispered. But she noticed her throat only got worse by talking. She took a quick look around and relised she was in the hospital.

"A knife got your throat. Do you remember anything about what happened?" He asked.

"E-..." She tried talking but started threw up some blood.

"Elinor?" He looked worried. But he tried denying it.

She nodded as she closed her eyes and tried to relax a bit more. She felt his hand going over her hand. She looked back at him and stared him right into his eyes. They were beautiful. She smiled. He made her forget all of her pain. He sat beside of her the whole night. And the next morning her parents arrived.

"My sweet baby girl!" Her mom came running in. Val's father came walking in and talked to the doctor. Later that day the police came to. But the only think Val could think about was Zeke. HE has been there with her the whole day. And held her hand. Her parents made alot of drama.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CANT DO ANYTHING?" Her father yelled at the officer standing there. He was really mad. Her mother just stood there crying.

"We are really sorry sir, but there is not enough proof to start a investigation. A broken window doesnt prove enough for us to start anything." The officer said.

Val reached down to her pocket and grabbed the rock with the note. She took it out and looked at it.

"Officer.. is this enough?" She said and showed it to him.

"This might be a start.." He said, he grabbed some gloves and took the rock into a plastic bag.

"We would start looking around the crime scene to see if the person might have dropped some finger prints or any items to help our investegation." He said and took Val's father by the hand.

Her parent stroke her over the head, her mother gave her a kiss on the forhead.

"Honey we have to go, we got alot of work and papers to do. But we will come back for you. Do you want us to bring anything from home?" Her mother asked.

"Not thank you mom i got everything i need." Val answered and gave a little smile.

As the parents left she looked over at Zeke, he just stood there in silence. Val was expecting him to say anything, but for about 5 minutes he stood there in silence. She didn't know what to do or say to him, she tried to make eye contact with him. But he wouldn't even look at her. After some time he finnaly made some words out of his mouth.

"Why didn't you tell the cops that you saw Elinor minutes before this happened? You make it look like your'e defending her?" He said and sat down on the chair besides of her bed.

"I am not trying to defend her, I am just not getting myself into more trouble. If i snitched her out she would've hunted me till i was dead. And i can not take that kind of risk." She said with a little strictly voice, as she kept coughing blood.

"Wow..." He said and stood up.

"What?" Val asked.

"I didn't think you were the kind of girl who gave up that easily. I though this was a fight you would be stubborn enough to take, but I just realised.. your as weak as the last girl." He said, then stood up.

"Are you kidding me? This is not my fight even if you drag me into this, it is not my fault that you can't get away from her. I know now what she is doing to people, and you expect me to just keep standing in her shit? I dare you to try to keep dragging me in, but do not count on me supporting you, you are in your own problems and i do not give a shit about what you will try to do. This is your fight, and your fight only." She said then she madly turned around, Val couldn't even look at his disgusting face. How dare he talking to her like that? Its not like she just have been stabbed?

She layed there not saying a word, trying to cover up that tears were rolling down her face. She layed there for a few minutes when she suddenly heard him sigh, then walk out the door. She wanted to scream, but her wound were something that would stop her from that for a while. She was laying nights after nights in the hospital thinking about what Zeke said to her. She was mad but she was sad to. She dont know how this guy who do not know her at all could be saying such things to her.

After weeks laying in the hospital to recover, she finnaly made it out of the shit hole. She came home to clean normal clothes, good normal food and back to her friends. They have all been spamming her phone since they heard about it. But one think worried Valery.. Not a single word from Zeke.. at.. all....

For the first time in a while she walked into the school gates looking around for her friends. She couldn't find them anywhere. All of the sudden she were face palming the ground, with something really heavy on her back, or someone. The whole gang were squashing her to the ground hugging her tight. She almost lost her breath.

"WAIT YOU GUYS! WE CANT KILL HER AGAIN!" Vanessa yelled and threw everyone off.
Val got up to catch her breath, she gave a little giggle. They helped her up and they all laughed.
She felt something breath in her ear, the looks on the others face made a cold feeling crawl up her back. She turned around slowly to see Elinor standing there.
"Oh my god I heard what happened! I can't believe it! Who would do such thing to you?! I though you were dead or something!" Elinor said and gave her a tight hug.
"Oh uh hi Elinor.." Val said hesitant.
"I am going to get my dads workers to find out who this bitch was, who would do such a evil thing to a newbie? I mean I didn't think you would get to know anyone that fast and make enemies that fast. Just know hon I am on your side, like totesss!" She said and gave a little smile, then she walked towards Zeke who had been standing behind everyone a while. Val gave him a look in his eyes, and you could see small reaction in him.
"Zeeekeeee babyyyy I missed you where have you been all this time? You didn't answer my calls" Elinor said as she gave him a wet kiss.
"I've been sick I guess.." he said and tried to push her a little bit away.
"Well I got so much to talk about, so I met this new bitch Samatha Hillberg, she's from Sweden or some shit hole.."
They continued walking-
"What was all that random shit?" Vanessa said
"I don't know..?" Val said and was still standing confused as fuck.
