Chapter 9

Mikasa's POV

Months have passed, we took our exams, and the results were finally out. Now I'm going to the bulletin board. On my way, I heard gossips.

'Hey. Isn't Yui-tan and Eren-kun look cute together?'

'Yeah, yeah. They always been together.'

'They would make a good couple.'

'Haha! I know right!'

Yeah, Eren and Saotome have been hanging too much the past few months, but he keep on bugging me.
Never mind that.

I already arrive at the bulletin board, I looked at the top then saw my name.

1st. Mikasa Ackerman - 100

2nd. Armin Arlert - 94

3rd. Ren Imada - 91

I smiled on the inside, but I didn't get the feeling I always felt whenever I saw my name at the top. I guess I got used to it.

Why do I think about him?!

Suddenly I felt a tap at my shoulder, turning my head around I saw a boy with blonde hair, blue eyes and his wearing glasses.

"Who are you?" I asked right away. Why do people are getting close to me now?

He wink then smiled. "I'm Ren Imada from class 3-2. You are Mikasa right? Mikasa Ackerman?"

I stared at him for awhile.
"I don't know you."

He blinked a few times then laughed, I felt blood rushed at my cheeks.

"Haha! I just introduced myself right? Anyways, I want to congratulate you for being in the first place, again." He said then hold out his hands for me to shake.
I just grabbed it and its warm. He shook it.
"Yeah congratulatio--"

"MIKASA!!!!"

I was cut off when Eren shouted and came running to me. He grabbed my hands that I was placing with Imada and shook it.

"Congratulations! Right now the first semester is over and you...." He trailed and looked at Imada. "Who are you?"

"He's Imada. Ren Imada." I said.
Imada laughed a little then smiled at me.
"No need to be formal Mika-chan. Just call me Ren."

I nodded and I feel my hand being squeezed by Eren, he is glaring at Ima--err Ren.

"Eren what's wrong?" I pinched his cheeks.

"You.....dont call her 'Mika-chan' I'm the one who called her that first!"

I put on a poker face then looked at Ren. "Sorry Ren, we won't be bothering you now. Later." I said as I grabbed Eren's collar then dragged him away.

"Umm...sure."

"H-hey Mikasa! What are you doing?" Eren struggled I tightened my grip then we stop inside the classroom, I slammed the door again and everyone is looking at us. I just ignored them and take my hands off his collar.

"Geez, what's that for?" He said arranging his collar.

I didn't said anything and just sat down at my desk. He walked up to me.

"Hey, now that the first semester is finished can we be friends again?" He asked.

I nodded. "Just don't bother me when in studying."

His face lit up then he hugged me. I didn't bother to pushed him off. From the corner of my eyes I saw Saotome glaring.

So she's finally showing her true colors?..
