Grow up. Study Harder. Be better. Be perfect. Grow up. Go to school. Tell the class your name. Try to make friends. Don't be a disappointment. Get all your homework done in class. Get home on time. Do not go over to friends' houses after school. Spend lunch in the library studying. Go get on the bus or you will miss it. Remember that you will drive your car home. Grow up.

My rules for starting school number 9. Moving wasn't very convenient for my school. Either I would be way too ahead- or way too behind. As I sat on the bus pondering what Everleen High was going to be like I saw a girl come on. Blond hair, green eyes. She looks nervous. She drops money into the cup. She didn't scan a bus card. She has to be new. As she sits down in the 2nd seat the bus leaves. I wonder who she is, shes pretty. I'm staring at the back of her head when she quickly turns around and looks me dead in the eyes. I don't think she expected this, so her face went bright red. She quickly turned around and by the looks of it looked at her feet the entire ride there. 5 minutes later I arrived. The girl gets up and walks to the school. She could be a freshman like me. I run to get to her; she might be walking but she is doing it fast.

"Hey, I'm Jacob," I say.

"Lori," she says quietly.

Lori is an interesting name. I wonder where she got it from. She seems like a decent person. The second that she says her name she quickly turns on her heal and walks away
