Iris pov:

I was getting off the plane.I was finally home,in HAWAI,i miss this place but it won't be the same.

Same without u gramps....I still remember when i was visiting my aunt when i got a phone that phone call,saying that my grandfather was dead more precisely murdered by non other then Victor Hesse.

As soon as heard that my heart broke in million of pieces.

I mean i literally grew up with him my whole life while dad was in the Navy.

I got off the plane and searched for dad.

It been long since i saw him.

I looked around till i spotted him.

"DAD!"i yelled as i run towards him.

"Iris!God i miss you"he said hugging me.

"Miss you too"i said.

Then i heard a cough and looked behind dad and saw a man.

He was blond and was wearing a tie?

He's definitely a mainlander.

"Oh sorry,Iris meet Danny Williams,he's my new partner."said Dad.

"Hi"i said shaking his hand.

"Hello"he said.

"Come on"said dad as he took my bag and we walked outside.

We walked towards Danny's car.

Weird thing is that it was dad who was driving the car.

"So how was ur vacation"he said.

"Good till i heard"i mutter the last part.

"I also was sad."he said.

I hum.

"I got a question"I said.

"Shoot"he said.

"Why are you driving his car?"i asked.

"Good question!Answer Steve"said Danny sarcastically.

"Well...because i'm a much better driver"he said.

i snort.

"What"he said.

"Keeping lying to urself dear father of mine"i said patting his shoulder.

"Wha-When am i not a good driver?"he said.

"Remember my 16th birthday when u try to show how to drive."i said.

"Yeahhh"he said.

"You went really fast as if you were chasing someone and almost crash the car with me inside."i said.

"You still alive tho"he said.

"Excuse me,can we go back to the part where u almost killed her"said Danny.

"It not that big of a deal"said dad.

"I told u that you are crazy!You should see a therapist.I pay for it"said Danny.

Danny keeping rambling on about dad until Dad's phone ring.

"Shut it"said Dad."Hello Governor,No i just pick her up why?Ok?"

Then he pass me the phone."She wants to talk to u"he said.

I took the phone and said,"Hey Governor Jameson".

"Hello dear.I'm sorry about ur grandfather but there is something i have to ask you."she said.

"Umm sure"i said.
