"Katherine."
"Katherine."
"Katherine!"

I jolt awake to see Dallas sitting with her arms crossed.

"Mom and dad had to rush to the office, can you make me breakfast?" She pleads with her adorable eyes.

"Of course I can cutie." I smile. "Just let me quickly get changed."

I put on some legging and a baggy shirt before heading downstairs with Dallas.

I had been staying with the Farrows for a few days now, just spent getting to know everyone and settling in. It all felt normal.

"Do you want pancakes?"
"No."
"Toast?"
"Hmm nope."
"Fruit?"
"I don't like fruit."
"French toast?"
"No thanks."

"Okay Dallas what would you like for breakfast then?" I ask as I run out of ideas.

"Can I have some pancakes?" She pleads once again.

This girl.

I quickly make some pancakes and set them down for Dallas.

"Cutie, can you go get your brother and tell him breakfast is ready?" I ask nicely.

"Okay!" And she runs upstairs joyfully.

A few minutes later, Caden walks down the stairs carrying Dallas by her foot.

Caden is wearing blue plaid pj bottoms with a black top.

Man he's fit.

Dallas is just giggling as loud as possible.

He puts her down and we all sit for breakfast.

"Okay so today, Dallas you're sleeping at Olivia's house cause mom and dad won't be back till tomorrow, luckily they brought ace with them."Caden points at Dallas with the end of his fork.

"And then I was thinking we could go to the rink. " he says turning to me.

I nod along, secretly my heart is full of excitement.

I love ice skating rinks.

"Okay Dallas, have fun. We'll see you tomorrow." Caden says to his little sister as we drop her off.

"Bye cades! Bye Kathy!" She giggles and hugs us both before running off with her friend.

Caden and I get back in the car and head to the rink.

"You can play some music if you want." He suggests and hands me the aux.

I smile and plug my phone in, playing my favorite playlist. A mix of The Weeknd and Taylor Swift.

I don't even dare to wish it!" I sing along.

"Don't think I didn't see you singing along at the start." I turn and raise my eyebrows at Caden.
