It has been 1 week since Sonic and Shadow's kiss was public and neither Shadow nor Y/n were doing too well. Y/n was diagnosed with depression and Shadown began starving himself. Shadow has tried calling Y/n every day for the past week but y/n hasn't picked up the phone. Shadow finally decided he needed to go to her house and try to explain.
Shadows Pov:
I drove to y/ns house as fast as I could I had just picked up a bouquet of roses from the store and had planned a romantic date to try to make it up to her. When I arrived at her house I knocked on the door. When she opened it she looked sad, tired and disappointed. She was wearing a stained shirt and shorts and her hair was in a messy bun with mascara running down her face. My poor baby.
¨Y/n....¨ I said
¨What do you want Shadow?¨
¨I came to apologize¨
¨Shadow I don't know if I can forgive you¨
"Y/n please just let me explain I love you so much and I can't lose you¨ I pleaded
I held out my hand and she hesitantly took it looking into my eyes.
I walked her to my car being very gentle and caring. When we entered my car she turned on the radio and our song came on. Munch... I looked at her with loving eyes as our favorite song played.
After about 15 minutes we arrived. I brought her a beautiful field filled with flowers. I had set up a picnic for us with lights, pillows, blankets and small tent, and lots of food. I opened the car door for her and walked her to the blanket she sat down so gracefully and nicely. I sat down next to her and took her hands.
¨Why did you do it?¨ she asked me with pleading eyes
¨Sonic he-he he kissed me out of nowhere I swear I didn't kiss him back I pushed him off as soon as I could. I am so sorry y/n I can't apologize to you enough. I am in love with you and only you. I would never cheat on you I am so in love.¨
She didn't say anything for a bit but then she looked up at me and gave me a small kiss on my lips.
