After what happened, she let me in, giving me some clothes to change in since mine were all wet from the rain.
After I changed, I went to her room, seeing her curled up under a blanket.
She was watching her phone, I didn't know what exactly.
I just got close to her, sitting on the bed with her as she immediately looked at me.
"relax, it's just me"
"don't go and scare me like that!" She pouted, making me giggle.
"sorry sorry"
She sat up, putting her phone away.
And we just remained in silence until something came up to her mind.
"wait, I almost forgot. I got you something" She said getting up and heading to her nightstand.
"is that-"
...
"You seriously got me a new phone?!"
...
"yup! I guess I just felt a little guilty for not defending you in time so...here" She offered me the box.
"are you sure?!- I mean- it must have cost a lot of money! It wasn't even your fault! Kacchan broke it- I-I can't accept it-"
"Midoriya, you're rambling"
"oh..." She started to giggle.
Probably the first time I heard her giggle.
Yet, it was so cute.
"why are you looking at me like that?"
"umm, n-nothing"

"whatever, please, just take it. You need it anyway and your mum is already working so hard to get money."
"yeah but-"
"No buts, just take it...please" I just nodded, taking the box in my hands, touching hers in the process.
Tho it was warm, but not the kind of warm that everybody talks about when they hold someones hands.
It was a different kind of warm.
"your hand is...so warm- wait that sounds weird, sorry-"
"It's fine...I didn't hurt you, did I?"
"why would you hurt me?" She sighed.
"...that warm you felt...It's part of my quirk"
"your quirk?"
"yup" I tilted my head, confused.
"My quirk is called Ash Blaze. It's a sort of fire quirk but it also affects my body. Basically my body temperature is higher than normal"
"that's cool you know, you're basically immune to the cold. Your friends must have loved it. I can imagine them clinging to you during winter" I giggled.
Tho she didn't seem to agree on that as her expression got sadder by the moment I mentioned her friends.
"...you...ok?"
"yeah...just..."
"did I say something wrong? I'm sorry if I did, I didn't mean to-"
"You didn't say anything wrong, it's fine"
