Why me

You think every teenager should be able to have a normal life. But it wasn't like that for most of us.

On day I woke up and was surrounded by over 50 boys. I don't know what happen to me before that or how I got there and I was the only girl there.

But a guy called Newt helped me. He told me every month a guy was sent up in a box. But every guy here was surprised to see a girl come up. He said that they were all sent up in a box here. They ate here, they sleep here, they growed their food here and they lived here. They called it the Maze because they were inside a maze and they were in the middle trying to find a way out for three years, but had no hope yet.

So when Newt told me that the Maze doors close every night, he said that one night three people got trapped out in the Maze. He said they lost their best friends because Grievers live in the maze at night and they would kill them. But the next day three boys walked out of the Maze, everyone was surprised and happy they got their Friends back. And those three boys were called Minho, Alby and Thomas.

But then one night the Maze doors didn't close, so the Grievers came in. Not many of us survived. But we knew then we couldn't stay anymore because the doors won't close.

So I lead them through the Maze until we found a door . We went inside it and their was bodies everywhere laying on the ground with blood everywhere.

A couple of minutes later people came in a but us in a helicopter. They took us to a building with chains and bars on every window and door. they said that we were safe now. But I didn't trust them. They didn't tell us everything they just told us to eat and that their was a room over in the corner of the canteen with 30 beds in it so we could sleep their. But I still didn't trust them.

So then in around a week of staying with the people who recused us. I woke up one morning. When Minho was kicking her awake. I woke up and grabbed the dagger I had under my pillow and nicked his arm. "Ouch" was all he said so then I told him " Don't wake me up my kicking me or I will chop one of your fingers off." With that he replied with "I think you should see something in the canteen."

So I did I walked into the canteen and there was bodies hung by their neck from the ceiling. Their skin was purple and black. everyone else was in the canteen now. Everyone was frozen when they saw the bodies so I walked up to one and took the keys from the belt on the body." What are you doing"Newt said. "Finding out what else is in here."

The only really good things I found was a room with food, a room with weapons in it and a room with a computer in it. I went on the computer. Newt and Minho was standing behind me wondering what the hell I was doing. What I did first was I found out where we were. We were in a business building outside a town called Strabane.

We were close to a high school called Holy Cross so I had a idea. I told Minho and Newt about it and they agreed. So I made an identity for myself and I was going to school tomorrow to find out information on what the hell we should do.
