That night I had a vivid dream. I was in the underground main headquarters for Diabolus. I saw a cyborg much more regal than the others who I presumed was the one in charge. As she spoke a freaky language to a colleague, I actually understood her. She considered herself a god among intelligent life forms including humans. Nedra was her name. The dream started to fade and I was pushed back into reality just in time to hear the morning groans from Sean.

Layla was the first to wake up. 'Guys!' she whispered. Immediately Sean and I woke up, instinctively reaching for our weapons – we were right to. The rock behind us moved, literally. It stood up and transformed into a Diabolus cyborg. I pointed Ender at the enemy and shot an arc of electricity, burning a hole through his metal chest. But he got back up and reached for a button. Just then, three missiles shot out of his back and took aim at us. Sean took care of that. He whipped out his gun and took three shots while flying to the side in midair. The missiles disintegrated before our eyes. Layla took a step forward and threw her knife at the cyborg's head. It's eyes powered down from its red glow and the machine crumpled to the floor. 'Yes!' Sean screamed aimlessly. 'Who you looking at you metal scum!'

At that point I put Ender away and sat down for a moment to breath. My reflexes were epic and I knew the swords power and exactly how to use it. I'd never felt more alive in my life. 'Well that was... interesting.' I said heavily. Sean and Layla nodded their heads in unison. We were all pretty shaken up, but Sean and Layla were dying for food so we used some spare pieces of metal from the cyborg to create some makeshift fishing rods. After a quick fishing session, we caught 2 fish: one for each of them – I again wasn't feeling hungry. I used Ender to heat up their fish and cook it. They were done in 5 minutes. 'OK. We have to move, Diabolus could be anywhere.' I left it at that. We gathered our things (which was only a couple bottles of water and our weapons) and started to walk up the dusty red road. While walking I explained my dream to them. 'I knew that name, Nedra, was familiar!' Sean explained while nodding to himself.

'That was an epic throw back there Layla.' I said with a smile on my face. These guys were depending on me to lead them. We hadn't said it but it was obvious.
