Mama Miruko

Chapter 4

Narrator's POV

Izuku had been living with Rumi for about two months now and today was a special day for Izuku it was his fourth birthday which not only meant he was bow a year older but it also meant he would get his quirk today which made the boy extremely excited to see what his quirk would be

He woke up like he did every other day and looked over his whole body to see if anything had changed but it seemed nothing had so that meant his quirk didn't physically alter his body that he could quite obviously so he went about his regular day he got out of bed and went to Miruko's room

"Good morning mommy" Izuku said as he entered her room like he did every morning "good morning bunny how did you sleep?" Miruko asked him but before he could answer his eyes glowed white and when his vision returned Miruko looked shocked

"Wwhat's wrong mommy?" Izuku asked her worriedly "umm bunny go look in the mirror" Miruko said so that's what Izuku did he went to his bathroom and looked in the mirror and what he saw left him speechless

(What he saw)

"That wasn't there this morning when I woke up" he said while touching the newly formed green rabbit ears that had sprouted on his head

Time skip

"Izuku Usagiyama the doctor will see you now" the nurse said so Izuku and Rumi left the waiting room of the doctor's office and went towards an exam room where the doctor was waiting for them

"Well I think I can already guess what your quirk is young man" the doctor said gesturing to the rabbit like features of Izuku's body when Miruko intervened in the conversation

"Actually doc he came into my room this morning to say good morning like he always does and when he sat in front of me his eyes glowed white and then the ears and tail appeared and his legs changed to look like mine aswell as you can see" Miruko explained to the doctor making him think for a second before picking up a book from the shelf "ahh here we are copy quirks" the doctor said before reading a little more

"A similar quirk was recorded a few years ago where the individuals body possessed a copy quirk that allowed them to essentially scan whoever they were looking at and copy their quirk into their own body" the doctor told Rumi who was listening when Izuku spoke up

"Hey mommy watch this" Izuku said as he concentrated as best he could and the rabbit like features disappeared "so he can turn it off through concentration interesting" the doctor said while copying down the information to Izuku's file

"Wait wait I'm not done" Izuku said again making the two adults look straight at him "rabbit" was all Izuku said before the features reappeared on his body "fascinating it seems that young Izuku here can not only copy quirks but also store them inside his body for later usage I think this is a brand new unheard of quirk" the doctor said making both Izuku and Rumi go wide eyed as the doctor copied down everything he knew about Izuku's quirk so far into a notebook aswell as Izuku's file

"Ok I have everything copied down into my notes now the quirk needs a name" the doctor said out loud making all three think hard on what the quirks name should be

"I got one!" Izuku proclaimed proudly making the two adults once again give him their full attention "what do you got bunny?" Miruko asked her son curiously "what about....."

COPY AND KEEP

Izuku said making the doctor nod before writing something down in the notebook with Izuku's quirk information in it "a fine choice young man so from this day forward anyone born with your quirk will have it registered as copy and keep" the doctor said before writing the name down in Izuku's file

"Ok that's all for now if I need anything more from you I have your contact information have a good day miss Usagiyama you too young man" the doctor said as Izuku and Rumi got up to leave "bye" Izuku said waving at the doctor as they left making the doctor wave back at him

"Wow bunny a whole new unheard of quirk that's incredible" Miruko told him as they walked to the car "thanks Mommy..... rabbit" Izuku said before ears and a tail sprouted onto his body and his legs changed to be more rabbit like

"Now I look just like Mommy" Izuku said proudly as Miruko hugged him
"I love you bunny" Miruko said as she held him "I love you too Mommy" Izuku said as they got to the car and went home

Time skip

Izuku was playing with Hitoshi again and they were telling each other about their quirks Hitoshi's was called brainwashing which allowed him to control people as long as they answered his question and Izuku told him about his quirk after he accidentally copied Hitoshi's quirk aswell as Hizashi's and Shota's

"So that's my quirk Hito-chan" Izuku told his friend using the nickname he had given him "wow Izu-chan that's super cool that we can both have the same quirk it would be like us being twins or something" Hitoshi told his best friend

"Yeah we're gonna be heroes together the best ones just like my Mommy and your Daddies" Izuku stated proudly earning a nod from his friend

Time skip

Hitoshi, Hizashi and shota had left a short while ago and now it was just Miruko and Izuku in her apartment when Izuku asked his mother a question "Mommy can you train me to use your quirk?" Izuku asked innocently and Miruko now had a giant smile plastered on her face

"Yes bunny I can but it'll be tough for you so you gotta be sure this is really what you want" Miruko explained to him as he nodded "this is really want Mommy I wanna be a great hero just like you" Izuku said determinedly as he hugged his mother

Time skip

"And that's when I saw your beautiful face peeking through the smoke" Miruko said telling Izuku the story of how they met as she tucked him into bed as this was a favourite story for both him and Miruko

"Ok good night bunny" Miruko said kissing his head before going to her own room for the night "good night mommy" Izuku said as he fell asleep
