Delilah:
I woke up alone in a bed i've never been in before. I fell asleep at twelve this morning and it's now six pm. I'm not sure how because I never sleep let alone napped.
The bed still smells like him even though he hasn't slept here for months. Yesterday was the last time he slept in here actually. I felt safe in here. His sheets were blue plaid and the walls were grey. He has huge windows with a walk in closet. I push myself up in the bed and my stomach aches with hunger.
My head is light and my abdomen aches. Not only with hunger though.
I crawl out of bed. I whimper at the shooting pain going up my arms.
I here walking outside the door.
"Niles?" I croak.
The door opens but Spencer walks in. Luckily i'm covered by a hoodie and blankets.
"Liah? You alright?" He walked into the room.
"Where is Niles?" My voice is tired.
"He's not here.. can I do something for you?".
"Where is he?" My voice shakes.
"He got called into work"
"Why?"
"Delilah"
"Spencer why?"
"Hey, Delilah. Don't cry what's up?"
I didn't even realize I started crying. I don't even know why.
"I need Niles" I whimpered out.
"I know sweetheart, he will be back soon I would think."
What's wrong with me. It's never bothered me before when he's gone.
"Spencer what if he doesn't come back"
"Delilah he's good at him job. He's not going to leave you I promise."
"Wheres Harriet?"
"She's out with her cousins right now."
"Juliet?"
"Also shopping."
"Is is just you home?" My voice shakes.
"Liah why are you so nervous?"
"Just answer my question!" I almost yell.
"No Delilah! Your father, Michael (Niles dad), and I are home."
I fall onto my back and wrap my hands around my stomach.
"Are you in your period? Is that what's wrong?"
