Let's start with the basics. There are two subspecies of Beastland Monster.

Monstrus Monstrus Canis, common name Lupine Beastland Monster

Lupine Beastland Monsters are an uncommon subspecies of Beastland Monster. They are named for their more canine-esque body shape, being that they walk on all fours. They can also occasionally have thicker tails than their Macropine counterparts.

Monstrus Monstrus Macropus, common name Macropine Beastland Monster

Macropine Beastland Monsters are the more common subspecies of Beastland Monster. They are named for their more macropod-esque body shape, being that they walk on two legs and the spot where their legs connect to their body is thick and bulges out, similar to that of a kangaroo or wallaby.
