Being a shapeshifter species, it can be hard to find one. However, they usually have bright-coloured eyes, and never have pupils, no matter what form they are in.

In their true forms, they are solid-black, have kangaroo-like heads and tails, and have a tail-tip that can come in a variety of shapes, although some do have smooth tails due to a recessive gene. They have jagged "teeth". Females are taller and have thicker ears than males, although there are exceptions. The tallest male Beastland Monster ever documented was Red Eyes, towering over even females. Some are born intersex, such as the most popular Beastland Monster; Blue Eyes. The sapient ones name their children after either the colour of their eyes or the shape of their tail-tip. (hence the names Blue Eyes and Smooth Tail)

They do not naturally have genitals, but due to being shapeshifters, will form them when needed. Transforming every time you need to go to the loo is a hassle, so they have bird anatomy, and only form genitals when.. creating new Beastland Monsters. Or, in Grey Eyes' case, being assaulted

ANYWAY!! Let's move forward. The males alone have a bite force of about 2125 PSI, so don't f**k with a Beastland Monster. The males are just under 3 metres tall (so about the height of a wapiti), and females are exactly 3.2 metres tall.

They don't have intestines, their stomach alone does the job.

They do not have fur. They feel smooth to the touch, like a polished stone. They shapeshift by melting and reforming like a caterpillar inside a chrysalis, but it's too fast to actually see much of the process, therefore it simply looks like magic. Their eyes are an unmeltable substance, which is why they never change.
