【 CHAPTER FOUR! 】
why must he be so persistent about it?
──────
HANWOOL PHI HAD IT ROUGH. He is currently at the office of his father, Yeonbaek Phi. One of the directors of White Lead Gang ─ a notorious criminal organization lurking around the Korea, most active on Incheon.
And now, here Hanwool Phi facing the consequences of his reckless actions.
"I thought I told you to live your life normally?" The sound is audible, but Hanwool chose to remain silent, sitting on the couch with his back fully laid back.
He answered quite bored, "Yes, you did, father."
"Then why?" He asked in utter coldness. Hanwool almost shivered. "I didn't take you for a imbecile type of a son, neither raised you as a slow-witted person."
Hanwool sighed in annoyance and yawned afterwards. He found this quite unentertaining. Well, who would be entertain when you're with an old man in a room though? Let alone, that old man wants him off the picture.
"I'll do better." Hanwool whispered and smiled. "I'll do the things that will surely bring satisfaction to you, Father."
Yeonbaek perhaps saw the twisted expression painted on his son's face as he immediately turn his back on his son via the swivel chair, a deep sigh escaping his lips. "Hanwool─"
"I'll go rest now."
Then a loud slammed on the door echoed once more.
Terrifying, the sole thought that lingers inside Yeonbaek Phi's head and ruffled his neat hair with his fingers, sighing in frustration.
There has been countless problems rummaging through his schedules lately. First, was that many members of the organization has been continued to be beaten up by someone capable, that is. It made Yeonbaek faced hard time of seeing the situation on Incheon lately.
Second, many contributors has been withdrawing their shares, which almost made Yeonbaek lose his sanity and tried to order his people to eradicate those traitors of the organization. But, that would only hinder his plans even more.
"Those damn snakes."

Y/N walked towards outdoor area. It was a much better training field than Yusong Vocational.
"Miss."
The whole area is covered with large trees that ables them to move freely. Nonetheless, it's not like they're doing something illegal though. It's just that...
"What?" Y/N mouthed and put back her handgun back to its holster. Her eyes was cold and the other person could see how dull her eyes was. "What could I possibly do to a person like you?"
Somewhere in the middle of the woods, survival game is being held.
Not many people is aware of it though. Only those who has connection to the event organizer has the access to this private game.
And Y/N was able to get through.
What the, the other person stiffened on his spot. He couldn't even utter the exact words he wanted to say to her after hours of practicing.
His lips trembled as he finally gathered his courage to utter. "I-May I join your team-"
"I am a solo player."
Y/N emotionlessly cut him off and turn her back. However, before she could even take steps away, she heard a familiar noise ringing on her ears.
BANG.
There is the boy who pulled the trigger and fell into the ground, terrified. The bb paint pellet only managed to graze Y/N on her cheek but it was enough to make her blood boiled.
After all, she hated being stained with paint.
"Ah— ah..."
The boy could only whisper in disbelief and stared at Y/N with fear on his face.
On the other hand, Y/N has this ominous aura coming out from her. How dare this person point his gun at me? "I applaud for your bravery, b-!"
She couldn't finish her words when someone abruptly grabbed her shoulder, making her aggressively tilted her head at the person. And she swore, she wished she didn't even bat an eye.
Y/N stared at him with cold yet attentive eyes. "What do you want?"
"Woah, chill out young miss. You'll kill him."
The other person spoke playfully and raised his arms in the air as if he is surrendering. "I would appreciate it if you could drop the killer cold eyes, young miss. You'll kill me too."
"Well, isn't that amazing?"
"Hah," he scoffed and chuckled. "You're awfully good at having dark humor, young miss."
Y/N kept her nonchalant expression. "Am I suppose to get offended?"
The male shook his head, "It's a compliment." He spoke and looked back at her. "Now, let the poor boy go."
"I have business with him."
"Just move on. He just made a mistake."
"It's not just a mere mistake. He tried to shoot me."
"You know this is a survival game so it's normal for people to shoot their opponents." He retorted back and shrugged his shoulder.
For some reason, he found himself stuck in this kind of situation; the one that tries to put out the fire wherein fact that normally, he's the one that adds fuel to the fire.
And he just found this funny.
"So if I shoot you right now, you won't complain right?"
He was taken aback. What could possibly a toy gun with bb pellets do to kill a mafioso like him?
He gazed back at her nonchalant eyes. They were burning and obviously is thirsty for blood bath. Amazing.
"We'll see in the game." He responded and shrugged his shoulder. Suppressing his small laugh, he glanced at her one last time. "Will you be able to kill me without dying?"
Y/N grabbed her toy handgun and loaded it with bb pellets. "Shall we test it out?"
God knows how many times Ji Yeonghyun tried to suppress his laughter.
