Everyone knew that THE KNAVE, wasn't the friendliest individual in the fatui. It was quiet obvious that she disliked her co-workers from the razor sharp glares she'd shoot them or from the way she was constantly keeping any slight praise from ever reaching their direction.
It was quiet clear to you, from your first day of being a harbinger, that you were no exception. You were, in her words, nothing special and of no use. Her explanation being, you only became a harbinger due to a promotion and that, you had no special skill whatsoever.
Surely, her words stung a little, but after TARTAGLIA'Sreassurance that she was like that with everyone, you didn't pay them that much mind. Instead, you decided to stick by him, since he was also quiet new to being a harbinger, you figured he'd perhaps help you get used to most stuff.
All was fine for the first two months, you were getting used to the workload and your new codename, and Childe --as he requested you call him-- was actually a really big help. Now, during your third month is when things took a slight turn.
Her royal highness, the TSARITSA, had decided it was finally time for you to be sent out on your very first mission. It wouldn't be that big of a deal, it was honestly just a simple mission, you'd mostly be doing paperwork the entire time anyway, the only problem was that you had to accompany a harbinger. You wouldn't be taking your squad, you'd simply be accompanying a higher ranked harbinger as a bit of an assistant so they could show you and teach you what you were supposed to do. You didn't quiet like the idea so much yet at the same time, it didn't bother you, I mean it wouldn't have bothered you if you weren't accompanying the knave.
Already having had a quiet rocky start to your relationship, you certainly didn't want to go with her. Yet, the choice wasn't yours to make, and so, here you were, packing up a bag of your belongings before setting out to Fontaine.
