In the not so far future...
Rui held onto Tsukasa tightly, embracing him with open arms.
"I'm sorry," was all he said as Tsukasa gasped for air, tears running down his face.
They held onto each other for a few more minutes before separating, Rui's tearstained face looking into Tsukasa's.
"I'm sorry," he said again, closing his eyes.
If only he knew the feelings Tsukasa had for him earlier, then Tsukasa wouldn't be laying down on this bed dying.
