I read the flyer once more, 'Help wanted Lagoon company.' I let a smile draw across my face as I took the flyer in my hand, it would seem fate wanted Revy and I to meet again. I pushed the doors to the rip off church open only to have a barrel put against my head.
"Now Eda is that anyway to treat a new comer to the faith?" I asked.
"We all know good God damn well you ain't the religion type Jessie." Eda said moving her gun.
I dropped a wad of hundreds into the offering, thou this was a rip off church it was still a church.
"Yeah yeah Eda.. Ooo Jack Daniels." I said grabbing the bottle on the table in the front.
"HEY THATS MINE!" Eda cried.
"God would want me to have this." I teased drinking from the bottle.
Eda growled out something's not then the bottle was shot from my hand, I glared at her with a glare that could kill all of hotel Moscow.
"You shot my drink." I said darkly.
"Why the fuck would I shoot my own drink!?" Eda exclaimed.
"Sister Eda how many times have i told you not to do this in the worship hall." Mother Gun said.
"To many." Eda mumbled.
I let a snort laughter out only to receive mother's look too, I sweat dropped 'oh no'.
"Miss Shooter don't think your getting off easy, this is still a house of prayer and I expect a donation...also no drinking here either." She scolded me.
"Oh yeah hey mother I was coming to say bye.. I'm going to work and I don't know when I'll be back in Roanapur. Soooo.. BYE!!" I yelled grabbing an unopened liquor bottle and running out with Eda on my heels in her nun dress.
I raced into Roanapur's district area then slowed down to a walk, on yeah if you haven't guessed it my name is Jessie, but I have a code name. Shooter... Cool right? Well I think so.. I made my way to the peri when I saw a really cool boat, it has torpedo launchers on it.. Automatically my inner mechanic mode leaped into the gear and I raced to it.
"Oh god she is beat up.. Hmm AH HA!" I pulled out a set of tools from behind a set of boxes and started to work on fixing her up.
"Hey Shooter need me ta lift her up?" Jack said.
"Yeah! I need to check up her underside." I said wiping my forehead.
He lifted the boat with his magnet crane thing as I walked under the boat, there was no damage to the hull so I waved him down, jack set the boat down as I climbed on it and checked the insides of her..
-third person-
Dutch excused himself from the two morons who where talking, Revy was going on about her guns while Benny argued back that working the computer was better.. Dutch walked to his boat only to see a women with her ass high in the air fixing the engine, the boat itself was already looking healthier. He walked back in and waved Revy over.
"Yeah what's up Dutch?" She asked.
"You see that girl working on our boat?" He said.
"Yeah what of her she is fixing it." Revy said with the duh voice.
"That's not what I mean Revy.. Bring her up here." He said sitting down.
Revy mumbled and went down to the pier grabbing her guns as she did so, she didn't know why Dutch wanted the girl Hell Dutch didn't know either. It was something about the way she way she was working on the boat that interested him. Revy walked up to the girl and kicked her sending said girl sprawling across the deck, this caused Revy to laugh and glare down at the girl.
"What the fuck are you doing on our ship." She said.
