My "neighbour"

Chapter 1

I was too busy reading a book while walking that I didn't realise I bumped so hard right into something. I groaned in pain rubbing forehead as I bumped into something hard.

I looked up to see what 8 bumped into. At my surprise it wasn't a thing it was a person.
Damn how can someone be that stiff like a rock
I looked up to see a tall figure wearing a black hoodie so I almost couldn't his entire face. He looked oddly strange, there was black and blonde dreads covering half his face.

"I'm sorr-" was all I can spit out until he interrupted me

"watch where you're going next time" was all I could hear from that strange person. After that he just walked off past me bumping my shoulder a little

Who did this emo ass looking shit think he's talking to i already tried to apologise tf

I just rolled my eyes thinking of it and continued to walk to my house. As I got home my mouth started to water as I could smell the warm appetizing food coming from the kitchen
My mum made  the most jaw dropping lasagna
Before I could go a step near the food my mum stopped me
"Mamaa why can't I eat it yett it looks so gooddd" I said still keeping my eyes on the lasagne. Damn my stomach even started to scream

"darling this is for our new neighbours they just moved in today we need to give them a welcome present no come with me we will deliver this to their house and greet them" my mum replied while wrapping clear foil around the lasagna tray securing it

"we have new neighbours?? Mumm I'm so exhausted to goo can we go in an hour?"

" no sen we need to go now I cannot wait to meet them so go and get ready we are leaving in 3 minute" my mum would always call me sen it's my nickname my mum kept ever since I was a baby

" finee lemme get changed" I said running upstairs to my bedroom

After I got changed me and my mum headed out the door and knocked on our known to be neighbours door
After a few seconds a lady that was about 40 with caramel skin coloured and black hair. opened the door with a big smile. She looks so beautiful

"aww hello we are your neighbours we heard you just moved in so that's why we wanted to greet you hear is a warm gift for you" my mum said excitingly while giving the tray to her

"heyyy and thank you so much for this you didn't have to please come in and who's this beautiful lady with you" she said smilling while looking at me after what she said at the end

I started blushing out of shyness as she was complimenting me and hugging me she looked like a whole model.
"I'm serenity sen for short" I said shyly and she was complimenting my name

She showed as a little tour around and then we made our way to the living room and sat down. The lady and my mum were just talking while I was sitting quietly examining the room. Gosh it looks so amazing already.

I found out her name was cleopatra and her and her husband are seperated and so on.

"so how many people are living here" my mum asked

"oh it's just me and my 2 sons.
Aiden who is 9 years old he's at his dad's right now but you will see him and Jahseh who is 18 matter of fact he's upstairs as always lemme call him down"

Ohh so they have someone my age how interesting

"Jah come down come meet our sweet neighbours"

After 2 minutes a figure wearing a black t shirt with grey nike joggers came down.
But then I saw him clearly.
Something in my mind was telling me that I've seen him somewhere..
He had half black half blonde dreads and a few tattoos in his face that I couldn't really see clearly.
Then I knew who it was...
Great.
Its the same strange guy I bumped into giving me a rude response

he looked at me and my mum and then looked at me again as if he recognised me

We just locked eyes for a good 5 seconds until I broke it
That was weird

"Jah meet Lauren and serenity our neighbours"
(Lauren is serenity's mom's name)

he just gave a small smile and said hi then went to the kitchen that was also connected to the living room.

"sorry about that he's always like that he doesn't really like socialising with people"

"Ohh no it's okay my daughter is like that aswell" my mum said laughing causing cleo to laugh aswell and then they began to talk ab usual stuff.

I then saw that weird guy Jahseh I think his name is just glancing over at me thru the kitchen
This time I made sure I wouldn't pussy away and he broke the eye contact

He then looked back at his phone while taking a sip from a glass

I realised that I was still looking so I looked away.

he looked very different I never seen someone like him. Not even gonna lie but he isn't as bad as I thought he was. He looked ho-  okay calm down now is what I said to my self

After what felt like ages it was time for us to go and as we were heading out saying our goodbyes I looked over at Jahseh again only to see him smirking making me blink a few times

Um well that was weird.

We headed home and I went straight to doing a bath.
I love baths so much its like a therapy to me I could be in a bath all day and feel relaxed

Once I finished I wrapped myself up in a towel getting my pajamas out of my drawers as it was already dark
I then realised my curtains were still open and went near the window
But then seething caught my eyes
Right next to my window was a window from my neighbours house and then curiosity came to me and that was when I saw that Jahseh guy standing shirtless.

I was just staring into his abs and I saw a name on his chest.
It said cleopatra his mom's name
I found that very cute and then was examining him.
He was only wearing basket ball shorts

That's when I fucked up when he turned around to look at the window only to see me just staring like a creep

I snapped out of my daydream and started getting embarrassed and nervous quickly closing my curtains and just processing what judt happened

Oh no he deffo thinks I'm a stalker
