"King Sygtriggr! " shouted a voice that (Y/N) thought she recognized from the Great Hall. The young warrior turned to the ruler of Jorvik in amazement. "Sig? Am I dreaming or did I just hear your brother right?" She asked.

"You are not dreaming. Sygtriggr replied, sounding exhausted by his brother's misadventures.

"I think he would be happy to see you (Y/N). Stiorra replied.

"You think so?" Answered (Y/N) blushing while remembering his childhood in Ireland with the two brothers. Since their youngest years they were inseparable, then after the drama that had fallen on their clan, she had managed to find Sigtryggr. He could not help but smile, he knew that his younger brother and the young warrior were mutually attracted by magnets. Every time they were together it prevented Rognvaldr from making a serious mistake, for the elder of the two brothers it was obvious, (Y/N) made Rognvaldr better. But now they had not seen each other for years and (Y/N) was afraid to see him again. Would he recognize her?

It was (Y/N) who opened the doors and was completely shocked to see Rognvaldr drunk.

"Hello Milady" greeted Rognvaldr with a curtsy.

(Y/N) looked at Stiorra in shock and held back from bursting out laughing. She didn't realize she was blushing even more because of the nickname.

"What are you doing here?" Sigtryggr asked with exasperation

"Isn't it obvious Sigtryggr? I'm here to see my big brother! I am a completely changed man!" boasted Rognvaldr

"Mostly because of alcohol" could not help but retort (Y/N)

"(Y/N)!" Sigtryggr warned.

"(Y/N)? Is she here?" asked Rognvaldr

"This is the Milady in question," explained Wolland.

"By all the gods, this is the best day of my life" said Rognvaldr before falling backwards and collapsing from exhaustion.

(Y/N) was unsettled, how was it the best day of his life? He was completely drunk and had just passed out. Then quickly a still unknown feeling seized her. She felt anger when she saw him in this state. "What an idiot!" said the young warrior.

"(Y/N) you know better than anyone that what happened in Ireland broke him and..." tried to pacify Sigtryggr.

"And that gives him the right to put himself in danger?!" Indignantly (Y/N)

It was obvious to Sigtryggr, she loved her brother more than she thought and she had just proved it just now.

A few hours later, after Rognvaldr had come to his senses, (Y/N) went to see him. "(Y/N)? Is that really you?" asked Rognvaldr completely in shock.

"I know that the last time we saw each other we were 16 years old but still! I haven't changed that much!" Replied the young woman.

"You are even more beautiful than I remember!"

She looked at him not knowing what to say, never until now he had expressed such strong feelings.

"If you're in Jorvik, there must be another reason than just to visit Sigtryggr. What are you up to now?" She accused

"Do you have a third sense or what? " Asked Rognvaldr who was shocked to see that she had just read him.

"We grew up together" she reminded him

"I found a meaning to my life (Y/N)!

(Y/N) had finally noticed those white marks on his face and she looked at him for the first time with a dark look. She had heard of these white-marked men. Always one step ahead of everyone else, she finally figured out quickly who he had allied himself with. "I can't believe you allied yourself with that crazy woman!"

"What? From what..."

"From Brida! She tried to kill us all and now you come back like a flower with her!

"If I came back it was for you (Y/N)!"

"Stop it, you didn't even know who I was until I told you."

She was about to leave but the young Viking stopped her by grabbing her arm and pulling her towards him. "I love you (Y/N), since the first day we met." Confessed for the first time Rognvaldr

"... I can't love someone who allies himself with Brida. She said, feeling a tear fall. Of course she loved him, but it was against her principles to betray.

"And if I give up following her? Can I tell my brother immediately so he doesn't fall into her trap?" Rognvaldr replied.

"She will kill you."

"I don't care anymore." He replied before kissing her for the first time. (Y/N) closed her eyes as she felt his lips touch hers. When she opened her eyes again, she looked at him completely red, which made him laugh. They ended up kissing again just as Sigtryggr called them to go eat.

That day, a drama was avoided as Rognvaldr had warned Sigtryggr of Brida's plan...
