A Bonding Friendship (Bigctor)

How we met

Vector's POV

I was relaxing on the chair with my feet up on the desk, listening to the sounds of music in my headphones as I bop my head to the rhythm. Silver was meditating because it might be easy to be self aware about his surroundings and Blaze was relaxing on the couch, humming to herself.

Everything was calm, nice, and peaceful without the whole destruction of Eggman and Virus tearing through things.

Suddenly, a knock from the door made me open my eyes as I got up and head for the door, opening it to see Sonic with Amy.

Sonic: Hey, Vector.

I smiled at them.

Vector: Hello Sonic and Amy! What's up?

Amy: We wanted for you, Blaze and Silver to come over to a picnic at our place.

Blaze rush in and heard about a picnic and she wants to join, along with Silver.

Blaze: A picnic? Sounds like fun!

Silver heard about it, too as he head for the door.

Silver: A picnic would be nice.

Amy: Sweet! If you mind to follow me to our place, Team Rose's Base, the food will be ready for grabs.

I couldn't resist for food and even when I'm hungry, I start to crave for it.

Vector: Let's go then! I'm starving!

Amy and Sonic lead us to the picnic that was located in Seaside Hill with a nice grassland, perfect for Team Rose's Base. As we got there, everyone was gathered for the picnic including Metal Sonic, Metal Vector and Zavok who wanted to make friends without any problems.

I walk over to Zavok to have a nice conservation.

Vector: Hey Zavok!

Zavok: Vector friend! I've been making good progress with making some friends and your advice worked.

Vector: That's great! Glad to see you're having a great time!

Zavok: Yep.

Zavok then hugs me, picking me up in the air before putting me down on the grass. I really like him so much. Before I go get something for a tasty treat, I saw something big that caught my attention. It was a big cat and seemly an adorable one. I couldn't get my mind off of him as he goes by sitting next to the Chao and Amy, talking, laughing it out, having good times. He is just as beautiful as those cookies I tend to crave for. I was too focused on Big that I didn't feel someone poking me.

Zavok: Vector? Vector?

I snapped out of it and look at Zavok who's very confused about what I was looking at.

Zavok: Are you okay?

Vector: Y-Yeah, I'm fine. I was just, uh, enjoying the view. Yeah. That's it.

I look around before I go to the a nearby picnic where Blaze and Silver gather. I couldn't get my mind off of Big because he's so cute, sweet, adorable and so...well big.

Okay Vector, keep cool. It's just Big the Cat. He's so cute and... Oh my gosh! I can't... I said in my own thoughts before calming myself down from all this blushing. Calm down, Vector... Just keep cool and meet him. Yes. That could work. I turn my attention to see what Big was doing as I was doing so, I smiled with a warm feeling inside, thinking that I should go talk to him but I can't because I get so nervous very easily, just like I met Vanilla with the Chaotix.

After we had a nice picnic here at Team Rose's Base, some people had to go home and do something important while some people stay here and as Zavok said about making friends was a good idea. Still couldn't get the mind of Big in my head. He looks like a nice cute bean for once.

Silver: Vector?

Some voice was calling to me. Was it really Big? No, I must have been thinking about him too much. Some hand made me snap out of it again.

Silver: Hello? Earth to Vector.

I look back at Silver and Blaze, seeing their confused faces. Blaze spoke up, asking me a question.

Blaze: Vector, are you okay? You've been staring at Big for quite some time.

Vector: What? Who? Big? Uh... I...

Then Silver's eyes sparkle with joy as he notice my blush.

Silver: Oooh! You have a crush on Big, aren't you?

Vector: What? I, uh... I mean, maybe, uh...

Blaze: Vector. You can tell us anything. We won't judge you.

One of the Wisps pat me on the head. Some lay on my head before flying back inside me. I smiled at them while I'm blushing by Big a lot and I don't want anyone to notice, so I wait to bypass the time.

It was evening and everyone is heading back to their Team Base. I told Blaze and Silver to head back home before I walk over to where Big was. Big was there, fishing as usual because he loves fishing. He's the only one that loves fishing and I get to watch him do it. My tail was wagging with happiness and all I felt was love in the air.

Oh, Big... I can't wait for you to be my sweet big friend. I said from my mind while my eyes are focused on Big fishing when I got close to him, then stepping on a twig, snapping it. That caused Big to raise his long ears and then looking behind him to see me. Oh dear...

Why is my heartbeat pounding? Why is Big looking at me like that? Is he going to do something to me? I said in my brain as questions begin to form in my mind. Big got up, waving his hand to me as he walk over to me. Seeing his big size. I'm almost as tall as him, just like Zavok when we have the same size.

I hear him call my name before I felt a light gentle hand rubbing on top of my head. It was Big, the big cat I've ever loved.

I look up at his cute adorable kitty face and put my hand on his cheek, rubbing it softy and gently. Big purrs in response as I blush more by his cuteness. I stopped as Big look at me in the eyes while I look at his.

Vector: Hey Big. Heheheh...

I rub the back of my head, couldn't stop thinking about how big and adorable Big is.

Big: Aww, Vector friend. Come here you adorable crocodile.

Big hugs me by wrapping his arms around me. Before I could hug him back, he starts lifting me up off the ground.

Vector: W-Woah!

Big then puts me on his arms, bridal style as he boops his nose with mine's. I gotta say. He is sure a sweet big friend of mine.

Big: You're mine now, Vector friend, and now for the fun part.

Vector: What's the fun part?

I asked Big. Then he carries me over to Team Rose's Base, taking me inside and setting me down on his bed in his own room. His room has so much Froggy pictures and pictures of Amy, Big and the Chao (Omochao, Dark Chao, Normal Chao and Hero Chao). Most of them are his favorites.

I got myself under blankets, getting myself warm and cozy, just like Big is. I look at his beautiful yellow eyes. He scooted close to me and before I could react, he nuzzles my snout, purring. I nuzzle his own nose before we both say good night, then we fell into a peaceful sleep.
