Over the next few weeks Amber would go on her rounds, see Prowl, they would talk for hours, then Amber would go. They would talk about everything and anything. About plants, animals, and their lives currently. Sometimes Prowl asked questions about animals, nature, and of course humans. Amber always gladly answered knowing he wasn't familiar with this world at all...obviously.

After her shift Amber headed back to the same place Prowl would hang around for hours. She started going down there to talk more and became a habit.
Once or twice she was so tired she got there and would fall asleep, only to wake up in her bed.She asked prowl each time, and everytime he explained that she gave him directions in her drowsy and sleepy state. It was nice of him, but Amber was extremely embarrassed everytime.
Amber laughed to herself at the thought, still embarrassed by it. But at least it was funny now.

As she came up to the small clearing with a cliff Prowl and her often talked she noticed him. Prowl was up in a tree watching a nest full of baby birds, fully captivated. He was too distracted to notice or hear Amber climb up. Because he hung from a branch above, upside down, he didn't feel any vibrations either. She sat at the base of the trunk with one leg hanging off.

Prowl watched in absolute amazement as one of the baby birds started to fly. His amazement quickly turned to fear when the baby bird was about to fall off. Amber could see he was going to catch it. She placed her hands on his chest,
"Wait."
"Amber?!" he whispered, before he could process this fully, he looked back and panicked seeing the baby bird fall. But if he moved her would knock off amber, but he could catch them bo-...he stopped thinking.

The baby bird was flying. His optics widened, his eyes glistening with fascination and amazement as he watched the baby bird fly. Amber gently let go of his chest..or what would be his chest.
Prowl turned once the bird had landed,
"How long of you been there?" he asked stirnly and a bit annoyed,
"Long enough," Amber replied with a smirk.
"How long is, Long enough?" he asked, getting frustrated.
"Not sure of the time, but I saw basically everything with the nest I think."
"I see.." he sighed, "No matter, thank you for stopping me. Is this normal for all organics?" he asked gensturing to the baby birds nest.
"With some but not all."
"What about humans?" Prowl asked.

Amber say for a moment,
"Well..." she cleared her throat, "No, some humans do but when this kind of 'parenting' is done. It's consider more neglect." Amber practically snarled.
"How would humans demonstrate this without flying?"
"Like throwing a kid into pool to teach them to swim. While it does work sometimes it can be trumatizing. Other times when it's considered definitely not okay, is when children are forced to learn how to cook becuase there is no cooked food or their ordered by their parents to cook. Or when the child is forced to learn how to wrap a bandage or clean a deep cut cause 'no one wants to hear your whining' the parents would say." it went silent.

"I have many questions, but I'm sensing hostility. Should I hold my questions for another time?" Prowl suggested. Amber sighed,
"No, no it's fine. I'm sorry I shouldn't have said all of that. What is your question Prowl?" Amber asked a small smile calming herself down.

"How did that relate to flying?"
"It doesn't. Its more representing many things, not just flying around. Its like..if you were first build, and thrown immediately to learn on your own with no teachings or guidness on how to do the most difficult trick you know now." Prowl immediately nodded,
"I see, it's not practical or good for you."
"Yes exactly. In some intaces in can be, like when you are given a few teachings to learn basics, then they give you a move to learn on your own that's within your skill level." Prowl nodded,
"I see I see."
"Now, what is cooking?" Amber laughed loudly, Prowl and the birds jumped at the sudden loudness.
"Okay how do I explain this..." Amber and Prowl sat up in the tree until 4AM. Talking and enjoying eachother's company.

This was odd to Amber, she had never really felt a connection like this. She felt safe and happy being near him.

Amber was the first person he truly felt a connection with. Her smile and voice made him feel..happy. Their conversations never really bothered her even when it came to his extensive amount of questions about this planet. She made his optics glimmer when Amber talked about really anything.

The way his eyes sparkled whenever they were talking about animals specifically cats.
Or even about the color orange! Or the way he furrowed his eyebrows when he was confused because he couldn't understand. She couldn't help but smile and laugh when that confused expression came out of his face.

As the sun began rising Amber looked down at her watch,
"Oh geez I need to get home...it's my day off and I need to sleep before Sari gets to my house," Amber groaned.
"Sleep? Oh! Sleeping is the human's recharging correct?"
"Yeah it is. Good job Prowl!" Amber smiled bright, but it was easy to see she was on low battery. Prowl picked up Amber gently and set her in his palm,
"Here you are too tired I can take you."
"Thanks Prowl bu-but I-" she yawned, "I'm okay..." Prowl laid her down softly,
"No you are too tired to think properly." he stated alreading heading out the forest.

"Did you say Sari was taking you somehwere?" Prowl asked,
"Yeah..." Amber replied half asleep in his palm. Before long, Amber found herself feeling the warmth of her blankets and stuffed animals. She curled up immediately,
"Prowl wait.." Prowl stopped and looked in her through the Appartement window, Amber stood up in a very drowsy state.

She placed her small hands well small compared to his face..she held his face kissing his nose. Smiling softly,
"Have a goodnight Prowl," she whispered placing her forehead against his nose. She let go and fell back into bed.

Prowl watched for a moment, he watched as her breathing was soft and slow. Her chest moved up and down with soft snores coming from her mouth. He backed away walking back to base, as his thoughts ran. He softly touched his nose, instead of feeling the touch of his fingers against his nose he could only feel her soft kiss over and over again. He could feel her snuggling against his hand, her soft hand against his chest.

But, above all it felt like he could feel his thoughts, the longing to be near her, to talk, hold, to..love her.
