Childe was drunk because tree and him started to argue a lot and childe started drinking while tree was getting divorce the next week they divorced and the kids stayed with childe before childe started driving to his new house, he drank 3 bottles of wine and started to drive while at the middle of the road, childe accidentally hit his ex-boyfriend, zhongli and a 2 trucks causing childe and his children DEAD.

Tree was visiting his ex-husband's grave with his new husband diluc and his 3 children tree was still sad about childe, but at least he moved on a bit.
