*a few days later*
"Where is that darned Brit." Amelia hisses as she waits for Newt by a river where they sometimes go after school. Someone puts their hands over Amelia's eyes. "Guess who?" Newt's Brittish accent asks, pulling his hands off of Amelia's eyes. "What took you so long Jerk." Amelia says, joking. But Newt didn't realize that she was kidding. "Fine. I guess I won't give you the bloody poem I was writing." Newt yells, storming off. Amelia pulls her knees to her chest and cries softly into her knees. When Newt's halfway to his room, he realizes that Amelia was only joking. "What is wrong with me?" He screams, running back to Amelia. "Amelia!" Newt yells out to her as she is about to get into the strong current of the river. "I didn't realize you were joking." Newt says, bringing Amelia away from the river. "Would you like to see the Poem now?" Newt asks, taking out a neatly folded up piece of paper out of his jacket pocket. "Y-yes." Amelia whimpers, wiping tears off of her cheeks.
Amazing and beautiful
not a flower or a tree
Much prettier than that
and only I can see
Loving and caring
right down to the core
Filling me with happiness
and so much more
Eyes are so stunning
cannot look away
Gorgeous and shining
all throughout the day
Here in your arms
is where I belong
The beating of your heart
is like a beautiful song
Amelia smiles, tears rolling down Amelia's cheeks. She flings herself at Newt, wrapping her arms around his neck. "It's beautiful." she whimpers, showering Newt with soft wet kisses. "I'm glad. and Evey single word is true. You are amazing Amelia Heart." Newt whispers, walking back to his room hand-in-hand with Amelia. "I will always love you Amy." Newt says, sitting down on the couch in his room with Amelia. "And I will always love you too Newt." Amelia says, laying her head on Newt's shoulder, beginning to fall asleep. "Sleep tight My beautiful Princess." Newt whispers in Amelia's ear, letting her fall asleep in his arms.
