I decided not to play anymore, I didn't have any energy to spare on insecure boys, and besides, my new gaming buddy was unavailable. Honestly, I didn't hold much hope for him, I met some gaming boys before, but after a couple of messages, they all turned out to be the same type, wanting nudes from me or making fun of me later in the games.

It's been a week since the boy talked to me, it was another Saturday of agony of not having any friend to play with me, but he surprised me, just in the middle of my life crisis I got a discord notification.

So I waited until I heard a ringing on my computer, I was a little bit nervous, but of course I was, he was just a stranger on the internet.

"Do you hear me?" he started the conversation first, he felt very unsure. His voice surprised me once again.

"I do. So where have you been the whole week?" I started way too boldly even if I was nervous.

"I had a lot to do at work, sometimes it gets hectic, you wanted to play?"

"Yes, I don't have any gaming buddies."

"How so?"

"You've heard it last time. I realized that people don't like me, and I haven't found any girl player in so long," I admitted.

"But you played so good, last time you played way better than any other person there, including me," he chuckled softly.

"You were pretty great, but listen," I said with a long pause, he was waiting for me to continue, "I need to ask about your accent, are you from Australia, right?"
