Meeting Perrito

(Y/n's POV)

We heard clanging and yelling from inside the bar, I flinched and looked through the window and what I saw made me fangirl and terrified. It was Death dragging his weapons as he said "I just love the smell of fear" and he charged at Puss. I looked at Gaby and whisper-yelled to her "WHY IS HE SO CUTE?!" Gaby looked at me and smiled while shaking her head. Suddenly, we saw Puss running away from the bar, Gaby and I both looked at each other and nodded following him. I heard a whistle and I looked back and saw Death looking at me with a confused and slightly red face, I smiled at him and waved making him look away. I chuckled and shook my head still running.

We finally caught up to Puss and saw that he was burying his boots, hat and belt while crying. I looked at Gaby and she looked like she didn't know whether to laugh or feel sad about the situation, I nudged her and she looked at me and I shook my head. She sighed and went to Puss, but when he saw her shadow he immediately hid behind the rest of the dirt while shaking, she looked at me and I just did a hand motion that said go talk to him. She sighed again as she mouthed the words "I don't know how to comfort people!" I looked at her with a look that said "I don't care, deal with it" and rolled my eyes

(Gaby's POV)

I sighed and said "It's just me Puss" he crept and looked over the dirt cautiously. When he saw me he visibly relaxed and came out "Now, tell me. What's wrong?" I asked as I crouched down to his level "I- I'm on my last life" he confessed "I know" I said, he looked at me shocked but before he could speak any further I spoke "But that's not what's bothering you" he sighed and looked at me "Death is after me, and I'm scared" he said, I looked at the house "And you think retiring is going to make him stop?" I asked and motioned Y/n to come over "Well- no but-" he said but Y/n cut him off "Tell you what, we will stay with you on the retirement home and protect you from Death if he shows up" I looked at her confused and she smiled at me with pleading eyes, I sighed and agreed "Y-You'd do that for me?" He asked with shock in his eye as Y/n and I nodded. He looked at us like he remembered something "How are you going to stay with me? Mama Luna only likes cats" he said as Y/n and I looked at each other and I smirked making her look at me confused  "That won't be a problem" I said and we both turned into cats, I laughed at Y/n's confused and shocked  reaction

(Y/n's POV)

Gaby and I turned into cats and I looked at her shocked and confused while she just laughed "No es la primera vez que yo he estado aquí cariño" (it's not the first time I've been here sweetie) she said and I looked at her shocked and Puss just laughed "How did you think I trusted you easily?" He said as Gaby smiled at me, I looked at her and saw she was a black cat with green eyes, she looked like a witches cat. I looked at myself and saw I looked just like my wolf form but with a necklace that had my name on it. "Let's go" I heard Gaby say as she interrupted my train of thought. I followed them and Gaby motioned me to scratch the door and I did, soon we heard a woman saying something along the lines of "I already told you health department people! There are no cats here!" and she opened the door, when she saw us her whole expression changed "You are not from the health department people are you?" she said as she pat Gaby's head and she meowed.

Mama Luna let us in and said "Now what might your names be?" I looked at Gaby and puffed my chest showing my necklace and she looked at me "Hm, Y/n and Gabriela!" She said as she read our necklaces and smiled "Welcome to the family!" She exclaimed but then she looked at Puss with a confused face "You don't have a name tag like them, Ooh I know! I got just the name for you!" She said as she left to get something. Gaby and I looked at each other and laughed because we knew what his name was going to be "Pickles!" Mama Luna yelled as she put the collar on Puss making both me and Gaby laugh and Puss growl, we followed Mama Luna into the living room while she was carrying Puss "Say hello Pickles, Gabriela and Y/n!" Mama Luna said as she left Puss attempted to talk with the other cats and said "meow?" making the cats hiss and growl at us Gaby and I got into and aggressive position and hissed making the cats back away in fear. I smiled proudly and looked at Puss who was looking quite confused making me and Gaby laugh "You said 'this woman is annoying'" Gaby said as she traduced what he had said "I said all of that, with a meow?" He said as he looked confused "Yup" i said

(Two weeks later, still Y/n's POV)

We've been here for a week and I'm already bored of being here, don't get me wrong Mama Luna is very nice but it's a repetitive cycle everyday. As I was walking towards the food bowls I saw perrito's cat suit, I smiled as I saw him interact with Puss "Hi!" I said as I walked towards them, Gaby must have spotted Perrito because she came over to us with a smile. "Hi!" Perrito said as he made his way over to us "Hello little one" Gaby said as she sat next to me with a smile "My name is Y/n, and these are Gabriela but you can call her Gaby and Puss" I said pointing at each of them as Gaby smiled and Puss rolled his eyes "It's nice to meet you little one" Gaby said as she nudged Puss, who I just noticed had grew a beard, making him scoff "What's your name?" He said grumbling "I have many names! Bad dog, stupid dog, Hey You but I've never had a name that suited me y'know?" Perrito said as he looked at us with a smile "How about you stay with Perrito, little one?" Gaby said as Perrito nodded and smiled.
